The Girls on the Bus official trailer is out and just the review of this trailer was enough. The Girls on the Bus has already been cancelled by 2 networks, Netflix and CW, before HBO Max finally decided to give it a straight to season order. Hoping to ride the trend of the current year, it looks more like 4 people who are ruining their own lives, while pretending that they are the ones you're meant to listen to for advice about the nation. While comedies have definitely been great with programs like The Thick of It in this genre before. I have the feeling this show wont be one of them. But what do you think? OH MY GOD THE CW PASSED THIS UP?! You know it's bad when the network that said yes to Batwoman, Riverdale, and Gotham Knights looks at your show, and says "Nah, I'll pass."
And then found HBO drunk and high in the alleway and HBO said: "Nah, It'll be fine"
I was going to say something along those lines, until I saw almost everyone else pulling a Pikachu face over the CW (of all networks, the *CW* lolz) turning this stinker down.

I hate people who claim to "fight for democracy" while advocating and actively working to make my life and the lives of the people around me worse.
They are fighting for "our democracy" which doesn't allow people who disagree with them. They only want "democracy" as long as it gives them control over others.
My favorite is when it’s a bunch of people in an industry so heavily subsidized by the government that it’s basically a *bureaucracy* harping on about the state of democracy. There ain’t anything remotely democratic about a bunch of unelected people exercising complete control over the lives of the people, including the power of journalists to excrete blatant lies as propaganda to mislead the public as much as possible in service of the government/Party.
Thats the grift, The US isnt a Democracy, and never was. The US is a Representative, Constitutional Republic. HUGE DIFFERENCE..

They had a coronary when the SCOTUS unanimously struck down Colorado, saying they cannot remove Trump from the ballot, saying the Supreme Court has now upended democracy by putting a political candidate back on the ballot. You cannot make this stuff up, and I don't even support Trump. I have learned that people who advocate for democracy only favor democracy when they get the desired result. Other than that, they try to upend, obstruct, and destroy the idea of democracy in their attempt to protect it.

I didnt actually sit down and watch seinfeld until my mid 20's, I remembered it being on tv back in like 2000, but I was 6 at the time so thought it was boring when my dad watched it obviously lol just wanting to watch spongebob. I find a lot of similarities between seinfeld and It's always sunny in philadelphia. They both share that same plot style of "a show about nothing" Just terrible people doing hilarious things, and ultimately get in sticky situations. Also I remember noticing that several episodes in always sunny seem to be beat for beat the same as certain seinfeld episodes. They found a way to make a show about flawed people, yet make them likeable enough to where you still find yourself rooting for them in the end. Nowadays in shows they just show terrible people that are completely unlikeable, and the story treats them as if they are jesus incarnate and are always right.

I get it when you use known "dangerous" terms, like the names of ideologies, certain shady historical figures associated with them or what have you. i remember when olympia dukakis was running in 1988 or 1992. she dropped out of the presidential race before new hampshire primary because she was polling so bad, so they did an in-depth poll to find out why. the reason she was polling so bad? was it the men? nope, she had like 20% support from men. women were not willing to vote for a woman, she only had like 9% female support, and the main reason women cited for not supporting her? Who would want to watch Supergirl with pants? Were they happy that they didn't have to work on the show anymore?
I'd watch her in pants aslong as the story was good and organic like the first 3 seasons, but if it was more writing like the Last few seasons then no thanks lol its why legends of tomorrow was my favourite, their bad writing and wokism at least still had campy humor that made it fun 90% of the time lol
@@odin13th76 Right. The problem is Supergirl wasn't very compelling anyway and I don't think I got past the 2nd season. At least it wasn't painful to watch like Arrow Season 6.
