Thank you and fingers crossed Ribbons ;)
I'm only just getting round to watching this as I've not had as much time as I'd like for youtube recently....
What an interesting life Manny's had. I could listen to his stories all day long. Going to the middle of China with a handful of notes, acquiring mics and seeing what life throws at you? Balls of steel.
Thanks Michael for checking out! Yes letting life lead sometimes can be scary and rewarding spiritually. I’m grateful to have traveled as a artist and producer. Search your soul and don’t have any regrets it life brother!
Thanks, Manny. Yeah, putting yourself outside your comfort zone is definitely the best way to grow but it ain't easy. Some of the gear you've collected over the years is awesome. That canine ribbon mic is the best thing I've ever seen. Have you ever heard of the Shanghai band Round Eye?
@@grsfhhytff no?! I did a band called Pairs and Boys Climbing Ropes there . Shanghai I only spent maybe 3 weeks there as compared 4 months Beijing ;)
@@mannysmiclocker They're worth checking out... Really 'out there' psychedelic Punk rock. I'll have to check out those albums you guys made.
I didn't know him by either of his names, but I definitely know his work. what a legend! fantastic interview!
Yes! Amazing talent and a great guy! We love Manny!
Appreciated the kind words brother ;)
Great, thanks!!!
You’re very welcome
I couldn’t switch off. What a nice guy.
Yes, Manny is a great guy!!
As a long time Punk guy and DIY this was one of my favorite episodes … I love the hard edge production of punk records bands recording on no budget except what they earned by working day jobs .. I love these records probably more then highly produced slick high end productions mainly because that’s what the music itself dictates ….
Fantastic! Yes, Manny Rules and I love being able to showcase such amazing guys as him!
100% with you on all the above!
