Hi my name is Paul Pinto and I’m an 19 year old maker from Connecticut. This channel will cover woodworking, metal fabrication, blacksmithing and much more! I will be posting weekly videos of my latest projects so make sure you subscribe!
Really like this guy. No nonsense or dramatics showing his work. Top marks man. Thank you for sharing. Great video and a swell hammer.
I think this is possibly the first modern smith's shop I've seen on RUclips. Thank you very much for explaining what you were doing, it’s helps people like myself who know nothing about blacksmithing. A great video and a vice nice looking hammer.
Thank you! I’m really glad you liked it
Amazing hammer, I love how you aren't afraid to go back and touch things up. Blacksmithing often takes a lot of repetition!
Very beautiful hammer, I look forward to your videos weekly. Videos like yours and others that got me interested at such a young age and I thank you for that!
Thank you! I appreciate it
What is the best advice you’d give for making hammers, Ive tried and it was a good effort by me and my shop teacher but it’s just no where close
good job my man! Ive been blacksmithing for 5/6 years now, blade making for 3 years but I recently got into axe making, because this is the tool that ive always wanted to make. Been liking it so far! Looking forward to use them in my day time job in the forrest. Your video's are more 'modern' to my taste but they have been very educational
Thanks man! I appreciate it
Fantastic work, great to hear your step by step process . Best hammer I’ve seen out there!!!
Thank you I appreciate it!
I love how much information you offer up in your videos PP. great content
Thanks man!
What can I say Paul that bloody amazing I really love your videos I am blowing away you took that piece of steel and your finished a Beautiful hammer wow 😄😄😄
Thank you!!👊
That’s how it’s done Paul! Give me contact info for your buddy that made the cupping tool please! Lower your bandsaw roller/guard to just above height of part being cut. Minimizes blade deflection and more important, much safer. Great work Paul!
I'd like the info as well.. thanks
Love your work. It's a lot of hard work
Well done Paul.....fantastic job. THAT will make someone a tool to be proud of 😊😊👍
Thank you! I appreciate it
Trabajas muy bien, tus trabajos son obras de arte. Saludos desde Argentina
New here must say what a nice video series you make, we are happy to be here to see what a forger does, not for us but neat to watch, you put a lot of skill and effort into you work, nice to see, the sharing is very easy to follow along with your progress. We agree on a square makers preference for the hammer over round style is nice, thank you . lance & Patrick.
Thanks! I’m glad you like it
Another quality artefact sir, very nicely done.
Thank you!!
Nice video, Paul. Well done as always.
Love this style of video! And the new shop equipment. As always beautiful work
Thank you! I’m glad you like it!
Very cool - That is the largest swage block I've ever seen!
Thank you! I think I know someone who has another one just like it haha
Like your sign on the press 👍🏻

excellent vid Paul 👍🍺
Thank you!
Really nice work! What kind of handle wood do you prefer? Is it hickory?
The Best!
absolutely
Thanks man!!
Lovely hammer Paul, Well Done.
Did you build that press? I thought I remember seeing a couple of videos where you were building a forging press but didn't see the finished product. Can't tell from the close up shots in the video if that is the same one, if so great job it works very well. Thanks for sharing. Andy 👍⚒
nice
Tremendous! #Tremendous
Thanks man!
Once again well done sir! What would one of those sell for? I would love to purchase one! Also if I may add Gratz on 26k viewers! You are doing quite well with your channel. Keep up the great work sir.
Thank you!! I sell them on my site www.paulpintoblacksmithing.com and they’re $159
Wow
Hey Paul GREAT VIDEO! Your website link is down. Are you still selling these hammers?
What size round stock do you use for the fullering dies for the hammer troughs? 3/8?
Gran trabajo, como me gustaría tener uno igual
Do you have a website to sell your stuff? I would be very interested in purchasing a couple things.
I'm scared to ask...but how much for a 4oz hammer that looks like the one you made?
👍👍👍👍
Qual aço usa nos martelos?
Forging a hammer, WITH A HAMMER!
amazing_dude It always amuses me how many vice restorations seem to require a vice to do the work.
This is really nice mate, bit different to mine, the cheeks are much more flat, but I still like mine, any news on those gloves mate?
Pięknie
Awesome! Seen your IG post!
Thank you!!
If you doing this 10 years to come you will be become a master bcs you have a talent on black smithing 👍✨
Красиво!
Paul how are those gloves going, haven't heard anything for a while???
Bravo! E molto bello!
Thank you!
Wow I can tell you take pride in your Craftsmanship how much do you sale one for
Thank you I appreciate that! I sell them on my website www.paulpintoblacksmithing.com but this type of hammer is $159
Your craftsmanship is that of an old sole and yet you do it with such ease. If you ever do a 2-2 1/2 Lb. double cross peen let be know . Be well and be safe....
Thank you I really appreciate it! I could definitely make you that shoot me a message on my site or my Instagram
link to "Kevin"???
Hello?
Very Nice! WELL DONE video, pleasant narration, beautiful work. We talked about you making a drawknife for me. I will be in touch. Stay safe. You are much better than that Brit who calls himself a blacksmith.
Chill bud they are both fantastic blacksmiths and art creators In their own ways, if I do recall correctly when he was at this many subs he was making the same exact videos. Me saying that isn’t down playing Paul either he is a fantastic smith and I do look forward to his videos weekly
Coby Harris - To clarify My point, Paul is doing what seems Old Style Blacksmith Work. Real work, as in making tools. The Brit now seems to be “playing to the audience” and making jewelry for his new love.
Good job bro👍👍👍, i want one like this.
How match please?
Thank you! They’re $159 I sell them on my website www.paulpintoblacksmithing.com
CAUTION mates. I have burned down one shop by using my belt sander for wood, then grinding steel... Sparky sawdust combo. Turned my back and the fire was out of control, just like that.
👍
Great job Paul. could you share the contact info for the friend of yours that Mills of products for blacksmith I would appreciate it.
Thank you! Here is his channel m.ruclips.net/channel/UCLfmft-87Dh2J04-zsi_QXA
Was that a rodeo time hat ol son
Maybe you outta make it with a hammer from the get go, you know? I mean i cant speak for anyone else, but i dont have a hydro press.
m.ruclips.net/video/WWnlTEgKX2o/видео.html
Это конечно залипательно смотреть как сталь мнут как глину, но с другой стороны думаю:"Нахуя все это? Молотков в мире мало делается? Тем более что в видео не видно чтобы он работал собственными инструментами"
