Drawing 18' on the bow and 25' on the Stern, seems a bit out of level.
    About this visit:
The "Death Star", as one of my RUclips followers likes to call this ship, arriving Duluth August 07, 2024 at 09:05 in the morning, cruising by my cameras at a speed of 6 Kts. Arriving to load coal at the SMET dock in Superior for the 7th time this season. FYI, this is their 11th Duluth arrival of the season. They arrived at the SMET dock at 11:01 and began loading the 67,000 Standard Tons of coal. 14.6 hours later August 08 at 01:36 they finished loading all that coal and departed the SMET dock. Out into the big lake they went at 02:35 in the morning, cruising out at 4.4 Kts heading to St Clair to deliver the coal.
    For the interested:
The three types are all a measure of mass (weight) the short ton aka US ton is 2,000/lbs. The long ton aka Imperial (British) ton is 2240 lbs. The third ton is the metric tonne which is, equal to 1000 kilograms, or approximately 2204 pounds.
The M/V American Integrity is primarily used for long-haul transport of iron ore pellets and western coal on the Great Lakes.

Not supposed to be level Paul. Depends on load forward, fuel onboard, and the engine rooms are in the stern (rear).
More difficult handling bow high, but weight distribution can always vary. Check it out when the ship leaves port. Numbers will be different.
Not claiming to know it all...but after 30 years, on six different Navy ships. I kind of learned a few things in order to be qualified for sea service. Thanks for the video.

She was coming in to load, she had only ballast water keeping the props and bow thruster submerged for handling. As soon as she's along side they pump the ballast as fast as they can to allow them to load quickly.
