- Episode 2 - Our first stop was to Yuma, Arizona where a deer runs into our truck on the way. We hang out at an RV park right on the river, we take a day off in the pool, clean out our storage unit and we even take our boat out for a "picture perfect" summer day on the Colorado River! Gotta love the RV life!

I spent a lot of time in Yuma at the Rivers Edge last year (had extensive dental work done in Los Algodones) and I live in Las Vegas... so now I feel like we're almost neighbors :) Have a great trip, a great stay and holler if you need anything.

Yuma County has the best stretches of the Colorado River! I hope you got some good Mexican food while in town. We love living in Yuma!

What do you do with your boat while travelling? Triple tandem towing!? Ha. Excellent videos and music
We actually keep the boat in the storage unit when we aren't using it. We set up camp somewhere and then go back and get the boat. It's a lot of driving, but worth it to have the boat with us!

There are tons of campgrounds here in Vegas...since we have Thousand Trails membership, we stayed there. Video on Vegas and the work we did to truck and trailer in Vegas coming soon

Great videos and an excellent rig set up. I see the eco boost can handle the 28 foot cougar just fine. Did you have any issues tackling upgrades or passing? We were stationed in Yuma during the mid eighties - lived there 3 years. Miss the desert.

I don't know if you have seen our modification video where we walk through each project we did? We love Yuma and keep our boat stored there so we spend a lot of time there. How low is the river due to the lack of rain? Be safe and have fun.
The lower Colorado River is controlled by the dams upstream, so we don't notice any difference from lack of rain. We've been going there for over a decade and it's always about the same water levels. It's also some of the warmest river water :)

Hi lethomps1, We cleaned it out and organized it (but we did rent another Uhaul to take a bunch of stuff to the dump). We are keeping that storage unit and the boat for now! Sorry we left ya hanging :)
Was going to ask the same question! I'm assuming Yuma is a place you have spent lots of time in in the past. We plan to head down thatta way next winter, leaving our snowy 'homeplace' behind for a few months. We partime in our Jayflight 31BHDS with our 13 year old son (the last of 5 kids), 2 dogs, 2 cats and a bearded dragon. Love being on the road and our home on wheels!
***** yes, we have spent a lot of time in Yuma over the years between boating in the summer and a warm place in the winter. It gets pretty crowded in the winter (and we actually prefer it in the summer) but you should enjoy it for the winter months if you are trying to get away from "winter". Have fun and safe travels
Glad you guys are ok. How's the deer? How did you tow the trailer and the boat? Did you have 2 tow vehicle or the boat is tow behind the trailer?
John Yee we never found the deer after we pulled over. We tow the rig to the camp spot and then we drive and pick up the boat separately. Thanks for watching our channel!

No we have never been to Los Algodones, but every year we meet people staying at Rivers Edge for dental work there. Maybe some day we will mosey down there for some work on our pearly whites :)

What happen to the deer?
Never understood tanning. You lay in the sun to get burnt to try to look darker and more "beautiful" when in reality tanning damages your skin and eventually you will look like an old catchers mitt. Or, you could just not tan and look more youthful for longer, just a bit paler.

nice life but unrealistic for most people trying to decide if they too can venture into a life on the road.
Your audio leveling sucks. Voices too quiet, music too loud. Other than that, cool vlog. Though it lacks depth. It's more so home videos than vlog.
