Thank you for this succinct specific presentation! It is MIND BOGGLING how many Docs are so incredibly ignorant as to tell patients with these kinds of symptoms that "its all in your head", or 'normal aging', or..'did all the rule-out lab tests, it's nothing", etc.
Or, an HMO makes a patient reporting a serious neuro event wait 1.5+ months to get into a Neuro appointment, then do only a cursory eval., and tell the patient "you are fine, go and be happy". Makes one wonder, HOW MANY people never get diagnosed, or, MISdiagnosed?
We have so many, per population, struggling to get by daily, existing as "walking wounded"! And a medical system which gave up looking for root-causes, only throwing pills or treatments to cover symptoms.

Winter Star you hit the nail on the head there. I was telling my doctor about some really weird symptoms I was having, and he literally said some things are just a medical mystery. Than he said the next step is just to ignore it. I got pretty freaked out at that point and realized just how important health is cause your fucked once you lose it.

[note to others: yes, I know this is a fossil post...but some might be curious of the answer.]
--> Depends on how old you are, and, what else do you notice over time.
But short answer is yess, those can be symptoms--but can also be symptoms of many other ills. These few symptoms are not enough to base a diagnosis on.
It can still [weirdly] take years for commercial Docs to diagnose MS.
If someone has struggled with mild symptoms for decades, but takes good care of themselves to keep severity of symptoms low, Docs will fail to see any point in even looking, of even running any tests.

She never had MS,she has a mountain of other serious conditions that account for everything, they exploited the shit out of her insurance & savings, really had no concrete way to diagnose MS,passed her around to to their medical friends..there's way more to this & no possible way to capture it here. You think it's way more together out there in the medical community..& you find out how god damn scary, the incompetence the exploitation & complete doc/patient disconnect it really is.Sorry about the length of this I wasn't going to do it.I don't have what you have but have been bewildered & humiliated by the health system.

I had a bad case of MS, after 6 years of studying Orthomolecular medicine, I learned the approach to recover from MS is to repair the Myielin covering the nerves,. I took daily Vitamin B12 in shots or under the tong. , this is because the intrinsic factor in the stomac is not transporting the B12 to the Elium, to be absorved, and eventually we develop the MS.....I had Bone brocth, the Marroe is the best collagen, and also the basic element to rebuild the Myelin already damaged,, take vit C 2000 mgs, Carnitine and Creatine ,VIT D3, Zink Magnesium,, MSM and Turmeric for inflamation., this is the only way to recover from MS. ..I recovered.

Thank you for your helpful video, to the point and succinct. I can understand that MS is a very challenging diagnosis to make with 100% accuracy, simply because of the extensive number of potential side effects (which in and of themselves, could be very easily any number of possible acute or chronic medical conditions to be yet undiagnosed as MS) and how each person presents themselves through such a wide reaching number of side effects. Thanks to you again.

Does anybody have advice on how to talk to my dr? I don't want a misdiagnosis of ms if that's not what's going on but the symptoms are very congruent. I had chronic pain for years but nothing with the numbness/ tingling and weird vision problems like now, i also didn't have sudden onset of extreme fatigue until the last year and a half, etc. So one rheumatologist hears only fatigue and pain for years and goes 'fibromyalgia' any symptom is fibro to him. I went to another and she dismissed fibromyalgia but is bent on it being nerve damage from potential ankylosing spondelitis (coincidentally that clinic is doing research on that). She wouldn't pay attention to symptoms that don't go along with it at all. A neurologist did a basic nerve conduction test and it seems ok so he thinks its nerves in my neck.... Sometimes patients are hypochondriac and think they have a specific disorder they don't have but I'm feeling like the specialists have reverse hypochondria lol.

My memory is messing with me too, I know that I know something but it doesn’t come to me right away. I always find the words I’m looking for but not always right when I want them. That dang needles in my arms and numbness in my feet and hands makes it hard to feel my feet when I try to walk as well as sit up in bed. My hand and wrists just don’t work and I fall , it’s too weird. So finally After saying enough times I’m falling and don’t know why, I am dead tired like I have never been before. Sometimes I hav3 to just stop and sit or lay down,. My chin quivers intermittently and drives me nuts. The weirdest hung though is the feeling of cold drops of water running down the outside of my legs. When it happens I swear there are water droplets but no. Dry . I just hope my persistence in getting an explanation is gonna finally give me an answer.

I would have said something similar before I read more. Gluten problems have been around since the 1930's.
There are too many books on the subject for a brief summary. Gluten is in everything these days.
It is in everything from pasta sauce to shampoo. It makes the breads soft and spongy. People often
claim that what they don't know about is all in the head of the other person. You are not the first and
I am sure you won't be the last. Over exposure to ingredients can cause sensitivity.

I suspect that I may be in begging stages of MS. I’ve noticed that symptoms get triggered by consuming things that contain certain types of oil, such as sunflower oil. I know that sunflower oil is processed to remove waxy components, so it will not be saturated or semi saturated. I don’t know if the chemicals used in this process cause this, or if the problem is that is that it’s high in omega 6 fatty acids, rather than omega 3. I feel similarly effected by other lipids that have a high ratio of omega 6 in them. I’m fine with unadulterated, virgin olive oil and unprocessed coconut oil. I seem to be fine with walnut oil also.

Both eyes flicker, shoulder pain, back pain muscles contortions and burning hips with pain and numbness. Shooting down the inside of my legs, tounge spazems goinibg down into my belly. Brain fog which is the nasty one, it totally decapitated me, it's like a sharp pain from the crown of my head all the way down my arms in to my fingers, I can't think talk its like a fog that makes me completely unable to do a thing... This comes and goes...

@@BagelBagelBagel You'd better watch the TeD talk about the cello player who cured himself of MS by drinking 1/2 his body weight in water daily. You're totally ignorant. Carbs are very dangerous and can cause NAFLD. High carb diets are now also known to cause heart disease because they drive insulin which stores fat and messes up the HDL/LDL balance.

      Hi,
Read the Gluten Effect. Are you carrying your phone over there or near any other electrical items on
that side? You should not put your cell up to your head. Use ear buds. Your body runs on electric charges.
You do not want to interfere with your cell's communications. Avoid sugar, processed food, caffeine. Eat lots of veggies with citrus. Drink lots of water. Maybe look into supplements of alpha lipoic acid, b vitamins although
gluten problems can sometimes impair absorption. Your nerves are constantly communicating with your brain.
This sounds like impaired communication. Also try to make sure you are breathing clean air. Smoke can seep
through the walls into your air space and make you sick. Read zapped and keep anything electrical at least 5 feet
      away.

I suffer from something and doctors dont know what but currently awaiting results from my Neurologist. I have suffered for many years with my legs where i suffer extreme fatigue and muscle cramps for up to 10 minutes where im screaming in agony from sometimes triggered by nothing at all. Its worse if i have exercised too. The main symptoms are fatigue which then triggers the cramps and also get spasms, throbbing, twitching and dull aches, shooting pains and the feeling i cannot support my body weight. I sometimes cannot sleep because of it and if i bend my legs im certain to get severe cramp again. Its cost me 5 jobs and now i cannot even cope with a 16 hour week job as it hurts being on my feet. I am currently awaiting results from an EMG nerve conduction test and MRI scan on my brain and spine so im hoping to get an answer from them. But can i ask if anyone knows wether this is MS related ? On the other hand maybe its Benign cramp fasciculation syndrome.
Any help is really appreciated as its really getting me down.
    Thanks for your time.
