The GLEAM

Our Co-founders of The Source LGBT+ Center, Brian Poth (he/they) and Nick Vargas (he/him), won the prestigious 2024 James Irvine Leadership Award for their impact in California. As part of that award, we were able to collaborate with Tré Borden co. to create something truly special.
The GLEAM is a literal beacon of hope. It signals more than just pride. It is a symbol of community, togetherness, progress, and solidarity. Queer folks have always existed here in the Central Valley of California, though it isn't the safest place in the state to be out and proud. The Source LGBT+ Center is here to provide safety and resources for our comnmunity.
Our Community Center is located in Visalia, California and is open for drop-ins Tues - Fri 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. If you're interested in scheduling a tour of our campus, please email us at [e-mail].
