I was doing an orbit of a bridge at night when I was in Dubrovnik Croatia 4 weeks ago. I thought my Mavic 3 lost signal and disconnected from the controller. I never recovered signal and went out looking for it never found it. But DJI discovered it crashed into a mountain for the very reason you mentioned. Back sensors did not work at night. I lost all my footage from Switzerland, Italy, Greece, Barcelona etc. losing that SD card hurt more than paying for the flyaway replacement cost tbh
thats why its a good idea to be backing up your footage, whenever i go to an awesome location i back up that specific flights footage to my computer before going on to the next flight. Especially when you're getting breathtaking footage you never know when the drone might get lost.

THE RC-1 AND THE RC-N1 HAVE A RF OUTPUT OF 26 DBM WHICH IS EQUAL TO 400mw BUT THE RC-2 AND RC-PRO CONTROLLERS HAVE A RF OUTPUT OF 33 DBM WHICH IS EQUAL TO 2.0 WATTS. THAT IS A HUGE DIFFERENCE, FIVE TIMES HIGHER SIGNAL OUTPUT FROM THE RC-PRO AND RC-2 CONTROLLERS. AS I MENTIONED, I PLAN ON BUYING THE MAVIC 3 PRO IN APRIL AND AM TRYING TO DECIDE IF I SHOULD SPEND THE EXTRA 1000.00 CANADIAN TO GET THE FLY MORE COMBO THAT INCLUDES THE RC-PRO OR SAVE THE 1000.00 DOLLARS AND GO WITH THE STANDARD RC-1 CONTROLLER. Have you had by chance an issue with the M3P for example when flying at speed laterally or in an orbit where the camera seems to twitch? Almost like the gimbal knocks against the side of the drone body? It quickly resets but will spoil the shot so would need to be reshot at a lower speed and no issue.
@@craig_Dronepilotsqldyes I have experienced that actually, I think it’s because of the large camera and gimbal, I never had that problem on the regular Mavic 3, I guess it’s just one of the downsides of the m3p but other than that it’s a beast

It was beautiful flying, and I too, have the M3ProCine. There is so much one can do with this drone on a professional level.
