Have to say Gordy is a natural rider and commentator, I never knew there was an old section to repeat offender Iv only ever rode the right line. Brilliant thanks
Nice series of videos! Looks like most trails there are quite steep. Is there anything there for beginner to intermediate riders or am I better sticking to the likes of Glentress?
Check out Innerleithen trails, I'd say skill wise they are inbetween Glentress and the Golfie. I'd recommend using Adrenaline uplift as it will save you climbing the hill multiple times and let you get more familiar with the steeper terrain to prepare you for the Golfie!
Good advice Tom although make sure you ride the mellower trails on that side. You can quickly end up on some pretty gnarly stuff on the Innerleithen side.
Thanks Robert, glad you liked them. Across the board the Golfie is known for its technical riding. The most mellow trails are probably flat white and Newyork Newyork but they are not fit for beginner riders. There is an xc trail centre loop on the Innerleithen side which is fairly mellow. We’re hosting a guided trip in the valley in July. Depending on your bike experience you may fit nicely into our ‘intro to enduro’ group? If you’d like more details then let me know 👍

Right on, how he keeps puts together decent chat whilst smashing through techy trails is beyond me! A true multitasker!
Great riding, esp while giving calm commentary - I’d be screaming like a banshee :)
Oh yeah! Gordy is a natural!
