I'm a beginner and I tried to make a big one with a metal plate... Shouldn't have done it... Needed about extra 30mins until it looks well done. I failed at making the pastry. The dough was way too sticky and there was no way to roll it so I just kind of pressed and spreaded it with my fingers. Some parts were way too thick and a bit undercooked but still edible. The filling was a bit less solid than it was supposed to be. Overall the result was surprising okay as I thought I failed completely lol. Only thing is the filling doesn't have much egg flavour. I just tasted sugar and vanilla. It felt a bit like soy milk flavour and steamed egg texture
