    Why did you Switch to Wegovy? I’m kinda afraid to switch to Ozempic. I heard side effect is worse. I’m on Mounjaro, but can’t titrate to 5mg.Not Available.

      My insurance company would not approve Mounjaro or Zepbound I have to demonstrate that Wegovy will not work for me before they will consider possible approval of the former.

      I also wanted to add that I have not had any major side effects with the Wegovy. I also inject into my thighs instead of into the stomach.

      @lifestyleforliving820 Is there a reason why you inject your thigh versus your stomach?

    • @lifestyleforliving820
      @lifestyleforliving820  Месяц назад +3

      I had done some different research on videos and several people indicated that they had less side effects with the thigh injections. Keeping in mind that everybody is different. I did try a stomach injection one week and I had a bad bout with diarrhea and vomiting so I went back to the thighs.

      Your doctor shouldn’t put you on Ozempic unless you’re diabetic. I’m pre diabetic, but that’s the reason I’m on Wegovy. My doctor says Ozempic is mainly for diabetes.

      How much have you lost within the 6-week period? It makes me fatigued. Just took my second dose, and no nausea. I experienced it my first week

    Hi, new subbie here. Thanks for this info. I have a Question…I didn’t know I shouldn’t take tums and I did so last night due to terrible heartburn. I know this is a side effect of Wegovy that I am taking. Is there a reason why tums are a no no? I won’t take any more but they did help. I’m in week 1. Lost 4 lbs so far 3 days into this first week.

      Hello per my research in looking at the reference material that was given to me by the doctor the Tum’s can possibly make constipation worse if you’re also experiencing it as another side effect. Like you my first go to would be the Tum’s

    Hello! I started on Friday saved then it was my TOM. So I do not believe I lost any weight nor did I lose my appetite. I did make an effort to watch my intake at meals. I also got a small bruise where I took my shot.

      Yes when I started on the 0.25 mg I did not see a drastic appetite suppression at first nor did I lose much weight the first couple of weeks

      Actually I didn’t have a hard time getting it. While the CVS that I use didn’t have it in stock, the pharmacist found another CVS that did and I was able to call them and they held it for me.

      Can also use compounded semataglutide from pharmacy. Just ensure pharmacy is FDA approved GMP

      In addition to the Lipid Panel, Comprehensive Metabolic Panel and the Hemoglobin A1C the doctor had them test my Insulin, TSH W/Refelx To Ft4 and CBC (Includes DIFF/PLT).

    Even the .25 is too muxh can i stop the pen half way through the yellow to gt the .12

    • @lifestyleforliving820
      @lifestyleforliving820  Месяц назад

      @@theresastressman147 I would definitely check with your healthcare provider because even stopping your injections at the halfway point would not necessarily be equivalent to what you’re trying to achieve. This is definitely something that you’d need to discuss with your physician and/or provider. Now I’ve heard that people who are using the compounds are able to control their dosage a little more because they’re actually extracting from a vial but in your case if you’re using the actual pen, I would say definitely coordinate this with your doctor.
