Sir while using the Hawthorne strainer we bound to use our index and the central finger to have a hold while straining but when we strain the drink it may happen that our fingers come in contact with the drink causing contamination and how to avoid it
The drink coming in touch with ones fingers while straining with a hawthorne is unlikely unless if the shaker/glass is very full and you try to pour too fast. So pouring slow and steady should hold good. Also we come from a school of thought where a bartender just like a chef is expected to be clean and sanitized while handling drinks and even if he/she touches ice or straw for example in the process of making a drink it should be ok.
Looks delicious 😋
Thanks Prakash
