I would just like to add for the final line in the new kali Linux in 2022 it’s “service NetworkManager restart” without the dash took me forever to figure out
I recently dual booted kali with windows and the wireless wasn’t working ... At first the drivers weren’t available, after installing them... the wifi option became available but it isn’t detecting any networks
my wifi is showing disconnected even after doing these commands? i have connected my wireless adapter and my wifi is showing disconnected and kali is connected through a wired connection only?what should i do?
If your running Kali Linux through a VMware virtual box you'll have to use an external usb wireless adapter. The reason for this is because VMware will only see your computer wireless as a lan connection only.

Can someone please assist me? Out of nowhere I am no longer able to ping to external networks/sites in my KL 2017 box hosted on a Windows 10 box. Buddy, you will get an option on the top right of the screen, select wireless and you will get options for selecting network. Try it, if it does not work let me know

Mine will only work if I type:” service NetworkManager restart “ on the second line. might help someone... it has to be capital N and M.

MyDay I solved the problem , turns out the hardware wasn’t compatible so I connected my phone with a USB port and used that as my internet connection.

Buddy use wifi instead of LAN

When I type the first command it shows , run it as root. What should I do.
Write sudo before the command
Ex:
