Filipino Reactor. Keeping it real and natural.
I am Nephi Acaling. I am native to Bacolod City but currently living outside the Philippines due to job assignment. I’ve lived in different countries like Singapore, Japan and United States due to job assignments. I was in the US when I started this channel thus the confusion to some where I am truly based.
At a time, I was a band vocalist performing every Friday and Saturday night at a local bar chain but recently decided to quit from my band to focus on my RUclips Channel and my full-time job as an engineer.
I was a member of the Filipino Voice Symphony where I was taught by professional chorale singers (e.g. former soprano from UP Madrigal Singers). Our choral group actually bagged the Gold Medal in the International A cappella Championships held in Singapore in 2011.
I was the Glee Club president and was a trainer for various singing competitions when I was in the university - all these were humbling experiences for me.
WHAT IS THE GOAL?
My mission is to promote music among different regions and try to make people from different countries relate to each other through music and singing. I have always believed that even small gestures in understanding similarities and differences towards others may actually lead to greater awareness about countries and their people.
In this modern world full of things that divide humanity, it is but perfect to put efforts in re-uniting and building bridges among all of us.
I have come to a point of trying to find a greater purpose in life, something beyond just being happy for a moment. Happiness in life is more meaningful if we choose to be useful, be honorable, be compassionate, and make a difference.
Ini pertama fildan dan lesty (filles) duet. Dan sejak itu mereka menjadi pasangan duet fenomenal sampai seorang adibal sahrul membuatkan mereka lagu duet "Lebih Dari Selamanya" dan lagu itu mendapat penghargaan bergensi. Dibuatkan drama musikal dan music video, dan puncaknya saat indosiar berulang tahun mereka membuat persembahan yang sangat romantis. Anda harus tonton keromantisan mereka saat microphone lesty mati.
Ini bukan yg pertama mbak,yg pertama duet itu waktu Fildan di Da 4,Fildan waktu itu nyanyi muskurane,setelah selesai trs ditanya sama host ,kalo ada kesempatan mau duet sama anak DA siapa,Fildan jawab mau duet sama Lesti ,dan MLM itu Lesti datang dg pakai baju India GT,trs mereka duet lagu Sawan Ka mahina,setelah itu di DAMI(dangdut Academy menggoyang Indonesia)mereka sering duet,dan puncak nya di DA Asia 3 2017 konser kemenangan ,dan 2018 dibuatkan konser sampai 2X(konser romantis Fildan dan Lesti) dan akhirnya punya Single Lebih Dari Selamanya th 2018 akhir dan th 2019 berkat single Lebih Dari Selamanya menang di AMI Award di kategori Duo/grup/trio dangdut terbaik

Yeeyyy finally...n I love ur reaction again n again...fyi..that video was 2 years ago before lesti decided to wear hijab...I told u ..u will never regret to watch that video...u got emotional...yeah they're very effective singers like u said...no language barrier for them...even u couldn't understand the language but the message of the song transferred perfectly to audiences...even now I have watched that video but still fail to not crying 😢

Fyi, fildan not also can play seruling (bamboo flute) but also guitar and a few instrumental more. Btw he isn't play those instrument for supporting his singing, but he can really play it professionally. Coz before he become a singer he was a guitarist in a pop or rock band back then. Sorry for my bad english.

Oh ya, i think u know this. But in the most recent competition which was Dangdut Academy Asia 5, Philippines also joining the competition. And Hannah Precilias made it to the grand final stage. A lot of people are amazed by her, since that was the first time Philippines join DAA and they also have to sing dangdut in Indonesian language.
