I have always loved Amaranthe, since I can remember, frequently listen to their music. Swedish metal is way different, rich in terms of the wide range of instruments used. Now if you have never been to Sweden, you are missing out, yes different culture, people are authentic, mostly traditional, but do not underestimate the quality of character of Swedes, women for example are humble, self-respect, integrity and moral. BUT make no mistake women are tough, if you ever want a conversation that is wholesome, to the point, intelligent on just about any topic you will have a truly meaningful conversation. Amaranthe have a wide range in terms of they albums, lyrics fit each song yes but they tend to be exceptional at creating a narrative that is truly amazing when the album is released. Sure not the kind of music for all, but understand, in Sweden and Finland the majority of the lead singer are women, with exceptional mostly an exceptional vocal range. There is nothing negative I can say about this band, Olof is exceptional also, and lastly besides their high quality video releases their work ethic is unmatched. I do not know why this video have so few likes and comments
Great video with good insight. I agree with Elize 100%. 300 people in a restaurant but 50 at a concert? In my opinion none of the rules for "safety" make sense because it's about control. The CDC in the USA just issued a statement lockdowns are not effective.
Oh "Viral" was released during a period of time when many musicians essentially did not show face, not these guys though, the lyrics and same quality... oh not these guys they showed the world what they can do, for this single reason I respect Amaranthe to the extend that words will be meaningless. I said many times, not here but since my heritage is Swiss, and I did my Master's Degree in Northern Europe (so I short story visited Sweden OFTEN), different culture, authentic but a truly amazing place, I thought I had to learn yet another language, but no, the best conversations I ever had was with people in Sweden, men and women, great people.
Come to Canada soon... i hope there is enough of us for concert... or we have to go to USA

Bought the 1st 2 albums digitally off Amazon back in 2014. not bad for a middle age metalhead eh?
