I never seen Love Connection when it originally aired but I did see it a few years on a game show network (reruns). I recently started watching it on you tube. When the audience selected Lori, you can tell by his expression that’s who Mike wanted. By looks alone, it looked like it could work out. They really started throwing jabs and insults at each other. It was kind of like a contest on who can insult each other more. My guess is Mike never really took it serious. He recently moved out west and he was probably, at the time, a wanna be actor and he just wanted to be on TV. He then chose Valerie and my guess that was probably a one time date.
I was born in 1971 and dated as a teenager. They were also teens and typical 1980s creeps. Then the 1990s trash. I never got down on myself for the poor choices I made. They were the options available. Finally in 2007 I met the man of my dreams.

The most important thing that happened on that day is Bo Jackson’s career ending injury. What is really crazy is that his football player friend made the tackle that ended his career.
You are 100% correct. While we were talking to Kevin Walker, they were taking Bo Jackson via golf cart to a waiting ambulance. We were right there when Kevin went over to the golf cart to apologize, Kevin was literally crying because he knew it was bad. I didn't realize that would be career ending for Bo Jackson. Bo told him that it was a fair tackle and that he'd be okay. It was crazy that we were right there for that moment. Kevin Walker is the older brother of Mike's best friend from High School. He did know him and I did think it was very cool to meet him. Before the game, Mike said Kevin would get us great seats which he didn't. We sat about 10 rows from the top of the stadium in the cheap seats because he is cheap, as I mentioned. HAHA

I was born in 1971 and dated as a teenager. They were also teens and typical 1980s creeps. Then the 1990s trash. I never got down on myself for the poor choices I made. They were the options available. Finally in 2007 I met the man of my dreams.

I’m still friends with many of them now and they all say that they were chasing me, hoping I’d put out lol. There’s a few that have still tried, through our 30’s and 40’s and now that we are 51 haha! Those days were still fun, with good memories.

I ran into Mike several years later at a bar in Vegas. Crazy small world!

The most important thing that happened on that day is Bo Jackson’s career ending injury. What is really crazy is that his football player friend made the tackle that ended his career.
You are 100% correct. While we were talking to Kevin Walker, they were taking Bo Jackson via golf cart to a waiting ambulance. We were right there when Kevin went over to the golf cart to apologize, Kevin was literally crying because he knew it was bad. I didn't realize that would be career ending for Bo Jackson. Bo told him that it was a fair tackle and that he'd be okay. It was crazy that we were right there for that moment.
Kevin Walker is the older brother of Mike's best friend from High School. He did know him and I did think it was very cool to meet him. Before the game, Mike said Kevin would get us great seats which he didn't. We sat about 10 rows from the top of the stadium in the cheap seats because he is cheap, as I mentioned. HAHA

As soon as he said playoffs Bengals Raiders I thought oh snap that might be the Bo Jackson game, then I looked up his friend on the Bengals and said Wow he made that tackle. Anyway loved Love connection and this was an entertaining episode thx.
