I loved this show! I was 22 when this show aired....Wow!! I love that you left the commercials in...those are fun to watch too. Thanks for posting, it was fun to watch!
Thanks for the upload and I find it fascinating to read some of the comments and the insight you offer. Took me a bit to realize on these that the actual person that was on the show is commenting back 👍
Elisabeth seemed like a real sweet natured, fun girl. It just seemed like there wasn't much compatibility between the two of you more than anything. It happens.
I notice a lot of these past Love Connections will have one person living in say, Los Angeles, and other in say, San Diego. IMO a lot of the situations are geographically incompatible. How often can you see each other when you are 2 hours away?
Maybe it’s just me, but you seemed more put together in your demeanor than the average 25 year old. I’m 24 now and it makes me wonder if I would have come across as put together in that position too.
I used to love watching this show. Sadly the reboot of it is a disaster that cannot even come close to the original from the host, Andy Cohen, the set, it's poorly lit and the contestants and the choice of subjects they talk about.
I miss the 90s when girls left a lot more to the imagination with their attire. I can't believe how many parents today let their very young daughters wear extremely short shorts and revealing tops.
I was lucky that a friend had recorded the episode for me, so I converted it to digital and uploaded it. I will check the tape I have to see if you episode was on the back end of it.
Love connection is such a good show, so cool you were on it. Weird question but just curious how much did they give you for the date? And how was Chuck in person?
They only gave us like $50 back then and Chuck was a very cool guy in person. Best part about the whole thing was the day of taping the show and being on stage with Chuck.
@@JIMSZR1 How is it decided what the 15-20 segment is about during the introduction? Do they talk for 10 minutes on themselves and depending on who they may be matched up with they will use the best snippet? Does the guest get to okay what they use? Just curious.
Just curious, why did you pick her if you didn't have a good time? Was she the best out of the three dates? I never understood why people picked the ones they had the worst time with. I can only imagine they were all bad? I'm dying to know the answer to this decades long mystery! 😂
You pick prior to meeting the girls and my Hope was the audience would have picked the blonde so I could go on a second date with her but it didn’t work out.
I'd like to go on record and say that I believe... this is NOT the Jim Bray who was the professional amateur roller skater in the movie, "Roller Boogie". I'm sure "this" Jim Bray is a nice guy, he certainly was more mature than the women he had to choose from...but Jim, if you "can verify" that you are NOT the "Roller Boogie" skater and actor this would clear up a lot for a lot of people.
Thanks for the upload! I’m not sure if you’re still around, or if you’re interested in growing your channel, but I have a quick tip that’ll help you accomplish that fairly quickly. A lot of people (including me) loves to watch these “older” game shows. However, if you’d edit out the commercials it would be a lot more enticing if we didn’t have to watch the commercials. I’d rather you monetize your videos so YOU can get paid when we watch ads, rather than sitting through the commercials on the original program. Just a thought...
silly fact - between 83 and 94, this show produced a total of 29 marriages, 8 engagements, and 15 children
That's about a kid every nine months...hmmmm
It is too bad that Love Connection
is no longer on the air I love this
show.
It just got rebooted!
That was when realty TV was REAL!
@@tommykovac1360 yeah but that reboot is crap

I'll bet his metabolism finally caught up with him
You would lose that bet. I weigh almost exactly the same as I did when this was filmed.
I love that the commercials are on this.
Gorgeous 1991 Ken doll hair, Jim 😀
Thank you for the kind compliment. Sadly I decided to shave it all off years ago.

Thanks for the comment.

That’s about right
You are very handsome, and I did enjoy the clip!!!
Thank you
@rhi on love. If you live in SoCal you should come meet me in person.
Wow, man! Those cowboy boots kick ass. Love them!

Yeah I never understood why they picked three women almost a 100 miles away from me but the process of filming the show was fun.
Did you ever get married?
Yea but not to this girl. But I am now single.
Jim looks and acts like my fiancé 😂, this is so funny to watch
So is that a good thing? And how old is your fiancé?
It's a good thing (but I am biased). It's just weird/funny to watch. He just turned 26 so he's kinda old.
I was 25 yrs old when this was taped
Maybe it’s just me, but you seemed more put together in your demeanor than the average 25 year old. I’m 24 now and it makes me wonder if I would have come across as put together in that position too.
The hippie match was fun and cute. Wonder where Jim and the next guest is today.
Living in Orange County CA
I would've picked the first girl (even if i had to work hard for her).
Yeah I figured by picking this girl I would get two dates out of the show.
Great episode.
Very cool episode. 👍
Taping the show was a lot of fun.
I used to love watching this show.

Yeah it’s just not the same as it was with Chuck back then.
You looked so much like a young Guy Pearce.
I’ll take that as a compliment
At least this dude responds to comments, unlike that stuck up Petra woman....
I miss the 90s when girls left a lot more to the imagination with their attire. I can't believe how many parents today let their very young daughters wear extremely short shorts and revealing tops.
And then they complain when they get attention from men...
hey where did you get the footage?I was on the show as well I think I followed you
I was lucky that a friend had recorded the episode for me, so I converted it to digital and uploaded it. I will check the tape I have to see if you episode was on the back end of it.
Saw your episode Ray, got dropped off at the on ramp!

Very handsome, mature, nice personality
Thank you
I think an auto parts store is an unusual place where people would meet someone of the opposite sex.
so is Jim taken in 2016.and how old he is now !?work what he doing now !?
this video was done in 1992 and I was 25 so you can do the math as far as how old today. I am again single.
50! Ding Ding Ding!
Nice
That's to bad you not get the girl
Have good year 2017
Gosh he looks like a model. I'd date Jim today ! !
Thank you for the kind compliment. I am a much nicer guy than this clip makes me look, due to the writers scripting the show.
They sure made him look like a jerk! I’ve been on television a couple times and they DO edit it to THEIR benefit
Just curious, why did you pick her if you didn't have a good time? Was she the best out of the three dates? I never understood why people picked the ones they had the worst time with. I can only imagine they were all bad? I'm dying to know the answer to this decades long mystery! 😂

Did you ever meet “the one”, Jim? You were very cute, all those years ago! 😷
I thought i had back in the 90s but things didn’t work out as planned.
I think it takes a real man to wear cowboy boots.
LOL... Back then real men did wear cowboy boots
Jim was right ... She didn't look nearly the same as that first video .
Jim you still skinny?
I’m actually about 5lbs lighter than I was in this video.

You would be right. That Jim Bray is much older than me.
Jim was so much more mature than this girl. Nice hair!!
Oh if only I could have that hair today. 😊
JIMSZR1 hair club for men lol!!!

Thanks but I don’t have enough content to make money. Just shocked to see my episode viewed over 60k times.
oh my gosh.....
she talked waayyyy too much.
Sadly very true.
