Hi Paul! I've put a couple in trees ;-) Glad you got it down with no damage. Very durable little planes. Yes, that's why I don't recommend larger planes as beginner planes, too much mass. Once you get over the nervousness, I'm that way on every maiden, it will be all fun! See you in the Air!
My Sport Cub was delivered the other day, but we are in lockdown here in upstate NY. The reason I made the purchase was your review, I've never flown before, I'm 64 and I might need to sneek out to do a flight, but do it safely with no others around. Looking foward to more info on this plane. Thank you for what you do, take care and be safe.
Hello Bill! I'm honored and humbled that you made your purchase based on my review. It's the best Trainer Plane I've flown so far so you made a very good choice with this Plane. I just have so much fun flying this Micro Sport Cub. Welcome to the World of RC Planes! I've just been in this Hobby for the past 4-5 years and I've never had so much fun in a Hobby that's fairly inexpensive compared to other Hobbies. I won't tell anyone if you sneak out for a flight ;-) Stay well and I'll see you in the Air!

I just wanted to thank you for making this great video. I am going to buy this plane based on your vide review. I am 68 years old and have been flying old line control planes since I was 10 years old! Thank you again for all that you do! I am a new fan! ❤
Nice. In beginner mode it appears to fly much like my HZ Sport Cub S 2. However, out of beginner mode into "intermediate" or "Advanced" modes the S 2 gets really wonky. This model looks like a much better flyer out of beginner mode.
Hi Bill! Yes, I actually prefer the Intermediate Mode for Gyro Stabilization on this Plane as you can do some pretty cool things with it. In Manual Mode the RadioMaster TX16S makes it easy ;-) This Plane is at the Top of my List for Beginner Planes. See you in the Air!
Cool i tend to balance my propellers by ear and eye with these small planes. As they all tend to vibrate and oscillate at different speeds. Ive had great success especially with likes of XK A430 also with folding prop gliders. Volantex are very very good flying beginners planes recommended by all. Cool trainer 😎 👌
Thank you Mark! I was pleasantly surprised by the stability of this Micro Sport Cub. I'm going to have a lot of fun with this one ;-) I think we use the same method for balancing these Props. See you in the Air!
Thank you much David! As far as I'm aware it uses some Volantex Protocol. I wish it did support DSM2/DSMX as then I could bind it to my Devo 8S.
