Poco x3 was the bang for the buck and its still working till this day flawlessly, but this one should be THE upgrade now, x4 x5 were horrible spec wise.
i have old poco x3 pro and dont feel like upgrading yet 🤔 some would say biggest downside is lcd 120hz display but i recently compared it with last year samsung a53 oled and i preferred whites on my poco x3pro so no rush for upgating unless that camera tech really improves

I recommend it if you are looking for a good budget phone! Also: I used it to stream One Piece on my tv and it didnt fail whatsoever. Just its so clean.
The global variant is the one to go for! Be mindful of the 'Made In India' variants... Those phones used to have motherboard and capacitor leak issues due to poor build quality.
I LITERALLY just bought the Poco F5... On the plus side, I bought the white one which is beautiful to look at but a few pounds more for 256 more GBs might have made me sacrifce the aesthetics... Oh wait, I want a headphone jack so that rules this out! Phew!
Just got my redmi k70 yesterday, and I've been quite disappointed with the customisation options so far in hyperOs (I.e. the amount of it rather than the quality of it). I have also just noticed the always on display problem is on this phone as well, but also small things like lack of gesture customisation make me pine for my old realme x2 pro, which I wasn't expecting. Bloatware is obviously significantly more annoying on a phine bought in china, but for around £300, and a glass back and snapdragon 8 gen 2 over the poco x6 pro, I'm certainly very happy
After Samsung screwed over many Mexicans In Mexico by affectively bricking their phones remotely; I know my next phone will not be a Samsung and I was thinking of getting this. @@kunalpuri6696Hey bro. I'm planning to buy this phone in India. What about the motherboard issue the x3 version had? Only Indian variants had this issue? I'm not sure if x6 pro is gonna die that way. What do you reckon? Should I buy x6 pro without worrying?
I absolutely love Poco phones, I had an X3 and it died and then i had an X5pro briefly but I recently saw one that also died so I'm worried about that part, but otherwise its a no brainer
I fell like all these "cheap phones" (and some expensive too, don't get me wrong) are designed to died out, so this way you need to buy another in 2-3 years. I had a Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 and it died after 3 years out of nowhere, but since it costed me "only" $200, I wasn't THAT mad tbh
@@ShaunaJagan exactly, even cars are that way, almost everything is designed yo die out after while, the technology is there to make a super long lasting phone but they have to keep you coming back
Xiaomi said that the x6 pro is focused on pure performance, so they didnt go full out on the camera. Also the megapixels dont matter that much, the picture proccessing is more important.
I love your humor! I had eczema that peeled my crusty skin back between my fingers. During class at high school I picked a bit off anf flicked it and it landed in Cheryl Bell's mouth.
I don't know how's your experience, but I have had enough of MIUI. It's not stable at all. So buggy. I started with Redmi Note 10 through Poco X3 Pro to Poco F4 GT, Redmi Note 12 and Poco F5, my final Xiaomi phone that I just sold last week. All of these phones only X3 Pro and Redmi Note 10 Pro were fine (I gave the X3 to my sister, she's like non-stop on it and it's still rocking). Switched to OnePlus 10T and I'm happy that the Oxygen OS has no issues and the camera is awesome. For gaming I have the Redmagic 8S Pro, which I dare to say it's better than ROG phones in terms of price, game assistant, hardware and battery optimization.
Haven't seen people complain about the software in a long time , I myself couldn't even know what do you even mean by unstable, been using a Redmi note 10 for almond 3 yeas and all my family members have poco/Xiaomi phone and non of them is causing any problem
Newer phone is getting HyperOS update (i dont know what it is) . My redmi note 12 just got the update notification. Is it a different OS than MIUI? Im not tech savvy enough to understand 😂
@@holoholo4261 From GPS issues to Network connectivity... Almost all Poco/Xiaomi I owned had problems with auto connection or preferred connection. Also bugs where you couldn't see what you typed (pretty common issue on Xiaomi). On Redmi Note 12 after an update, the OIS stopped working. There were always some problems. While I had zero issues on my current OP10T, Redmagic (+ Galaxy S20 FE as company phone). Before Xiaomi I owned Motorola One Fusion+, Xperia Z1, M3; Galaxy S6, S8, J5 or A6+. They were all perfect.
X3 Pro here, still going strong. I hate MIUI because it feels like somethings are restricted, or it strays far away from doing what Android phones are supposed to, MIUI doesn't let you feel like you have full control of the phone. Some missing options in developer mode, the notification menu has heavy modifications, it's worse than Samsung's UI. I'm pretty techy and made sure I checked the battery optimisations and background apps being unrestricted, also locking the apps to the switchable apps, etc. I want Macros running for example but they don't run in background whereas my other phones they run fine, simple stuff not as complicated as it might sound to the casual user but most people knowing and buying these phones are tech savvy or power users. Custom ringtones and notification tones disappear after a few weeks, my x3 Pro was benched to being just a browser phone and for games, navigation, media, etc. I couldn't use it as daily driver because things will unreliably not show up or work. Other than the software issues, the phone has been reliable, some software bugs and restrictions though. Finding it hard to upgrade phones, serviceability and reliability is important, makes buying locally from the shop easier.

Still rocking the X3 Pro. The X6 Pro is a beast but too expensive while the X6 and the M6 are no Performance Upgrade over the X3 Pro in terms of benchmarks. If the regular X6 had about 900.000 in AnTuTu it would be an Upgrade for a feasible price.
@@gregorshineDude, x6 cant run CODM at medium graphics and ultra frame rate, while x3 pro can, it sucks, and for a guy who is used to stable 90fps, playing on a 60 fps would look lag for me, which I am sure a lot of people can relate. Could have been better if x6 pro could run 120 fps on either MP or BR, or even better if both modes could run 120 fps, then it would be a worth considering upgrade for me, better wait for f6 if you want to upgrade your x3 pro, NOT THIS
X6 Pro is actually not too expensive, 399$ for a 12/512 options is quite nice for a mid range phone, we cant expect about it should be has any "flagship" features but still better than nothing.
@@igm1571 The X3 Pro back then was a phone with flagship specs and was priced below $249. The X6 Pro is great but Poco is steering away from the policy which made them legendary to begin with. Their Poco Pro Flagship Killer should never be priced above $299. It defeats the whole purpose of what Poco once stood for. They could have at least put a stronger chipset (an old Snapdragon flagship SoC above the Poco X3 pros SD 855) in the regular Poco X6 to have an upgrade compared to the 3! Year old X3 Pro.
Hi, I can have for about the same money (400€) either Xiaomi 13T or this Poco X6 Pro. Which one is better? I am leaning towards 13T. Poco looks to be better only in the chipset but I don't play mobile games. Camera is much more important to me.
After watching the reviews, I understand that the X6 Pro is significantly faster than the X6, but does this only apply to gaming (which I don't)? As a regular, low-maintenance phone user (RUclips, internet, watching movies, listening to podcasts), will the slower X6 be good enough, or will there be any benefit to me if I spend more and buy the Pro?
The x6 comes with Snapdragon 7 gen 2 which is absolutely more than enough for media streaming (and average games too), also the aux jack is an extra treat for getting the normal x6, i got the x6 pro and it's a beast in gaming, but unless you're gaming i don't see a reason to get the pro
Question. My mother's old s7 is falling apart in her hands and she is buying a new one and doesn't want to spend more than 300e on it. I recommended Samsung's A25 or A15. The cheap price of the A15 is attractive, but is it too much of a downgrade in terms of cameras, etc.? Or would A25 be better? At least it has 5 years of updates

I've a poco x6 pro and it provides good value for money and bang for the buck with its 8300 ultra processor and 512 GB massive storage only downside is it's camera.
Obsessed with my Poco X6 Pro! Gaming on this thing is smooth as butter, even on high settings. Plus, the battery life is insane - lasts all day and well into the night. The only downer? I gotta be careful with it, feels like one wrong move and it could get scratched. Thinking of getting a cool TPU camo skin for the screen and body from gadgetshieldz though. It'd protect it from nicks and stuff, but still look totally rad.
Been using my poco x3 pro for 3 years like it seems a lot of people here have, been doing absolutely fine, no slowdown, battery is showing wear but for the x3, wear is still a full days heavy use no problem and on battery saver mode and with slightly less usage I can quite easily last a weekend on one charge. I hated mi ui so I used nova launcher and honestly all the Xiaomi stuff has put me off it a little, but like you say you can remove most of it. (No idea why the wallpaper carousel is a lockscreen feature, wish I could replace that with literally anythjng else) The x6 not having a headphone jack or sd slot is kinda a deal breaker for me. I did decide to get wireless earbuds this year but still often plug in wired ones while they charge. Meanwhile storagewise I could just about survive with 256GB but I'm currently using a 64GB SD too which means I don't have to worry about long videos or uninstalling games. I hate that apple lead the charge on removing these things and I was happy that phones like the x3 pro were still around to use them. I won't get the x6, potentially might get the x7 assuming it's only a few months away though. I have been considering getting an older flagship instead of a new budget phone though so the x7 will have to compete with google pixels and if the improvements are only minor each gen, I don't have much hope.
What about mediatek 8300 pro? It's good for gaming? Have temperature problems? Price for x6 pro is good but idk It's not better to pay more money for f5 pro 🤔
Still rocking the Poco F1 original blue that I got day 1 on release. Battery started going bad after years of abuse and playing around on it, Poco F1 I salute you for your service, if it wasn't for the battery I wouldn't even replace for another two years maybe as the snapdragon 845 is still super potent and plenty fast, think I'm gonna root this one and flash me a custom ROM just to toy around with it. Just ordered the X6 pro as the replacement.
My main take away here is: wassat movie with Kevin Bacon and whassisface and sumwun else at 6:30 with all the stranded white Tesla's. looks interesting! BTW I have a Poco F2 Pro needs replacing only for lack of updates and i see the X6 Pro is £349 (369 list) vs £319 for the Poco X6 for a few days. The bog F5 still looks good though with 2 OS's from May 23 and security til May 26. then there's the 13T, the 12T and 12T Pro with some life left in them. 🤔

How would you rate the overall gaming experience on this phone? I'm thinking of getting one until I could get an iPhone early next year. I'm currently using a Galaxy A14 5G, but the gaming is just decent depending on games, but then Zenless Zone Zero happens. I'm in the desperate need of a phone that can properly handle gaming 😅 8GB RAM with 256GB Storage is pretty much enough for me as there are not many games that I like to play, just that the ones I do play happens to be quite demanding at times.

Hey Chris, I have the F3 which is great, is this worth an upgrade? Looks a bit incremental to me. Great video as usual.
Same position here. As the X6 pro is a rebranded redmi K70E I'd hold off in hope that the K70 pro gets rebranded as a Poco phone for the UK.
Just wait for the Poco F6
I'm gonna switch. Here are some good comparisons:
F3: 1080 x 2400 pixels, 20:9 ratio (~395 ppi density) AMOLED, 120Hz, HDR10+, 1300 nits (peak)
X6 P: 1220 x 2712 pixels, 20:9 ratio (~446 ppi density) AMOLED, 68B colors, 120Hz, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, 500 nits (typ), 1200 nits (HBM), 1800 nits (peak)
F3: Snapdragon 870 5G (7 nm)
X6 P: Mediatek Dimensity 8300 Ultra (4 nm)
F3: 256GB 8GB RAM 3.1
X6 P: 512GB 12GB RAM 4.0
F3: 4520 mAh 33W Charging (52m)
X6 P: 5000 mAh 67W Charging (45m)
Overall, a great upgrade (mainly for gaming and watching movies)
Downsides X6 P: worse selfie camera, harder to add custom ROM due to Mediatek chipset.
Downsides F3: Begins with Android 11
I'd say wait till the Redmi K70 gets a Poco rebrand, it should be a way better upgrade. I also have an F3 here and it works fine.

Never mind, my phone does have an always on display option to set it to always.
Can you make a comparation with Xiaomi 13T ? Is main competitor and many people wait this comparation (i want to see photo difference in special)

Probably close to the F3 with that sensor. 13T uses a different larger sensor so ofc it is going to be better.

Xiaomi said that the x6 pro is focused on pure performance, so they didnt go full out on the camera. Also the megapixels dont matter that much, the picture proccessing is more important.

Ive never had an issue with MIUI and ive had these phones for the past 5 years or so
X3 Pro here, still going strong.
It should be a good idea to do a review of the Xiaomi redmi note 13 pro 5G as i am currently thinking of buying it 😊

(No idea why the wallpaper carousel is a lockscreen feature, wish I could replace that with literally anythjng else)
The x6 not having a headphone jack or sd slot is kinda a deal breaker for me.
