This guy doesnt use any of the techniques available to make drumming easier, and I respect the shit out of that lmao! Every strike is deliberate as hell, and SOLID, no glancing blows to be had. Getting the full body workout!

Maybe he doesn't want to look cool using those techniques that you're saying. Or maybe he wants to play and do it in his own way. Whichever it is, as long as you produce sounds and make the music go fire, that's more than enough already.

Better technique would definitely enhance his playing (and tendons) but he’s a solid player for sure.
It's all fine until he's older and has the back and elbow and wrist problems.

he is actually very good drummer. i´ve watched dozens of terror live videos and he plays exactly what is needed in every song, keeps the rhythm tight, doesnt make (much) mistakes. its not easy stay creative as a drummer in such music terror plays, but he does little things that fit in every song and i like his power style

The drummer don't need more technique. His style is wonderful and personal. He plays for the music and the songs sound SOLID and with PUNCH. In fact, it's what most drummers don't know how to do. Even those who have been playing for years....

Nick plays from the heart which makes him a top tier hardcore drummer in the same realm as Mackie. No off days. He plays the set the spot on whether his monitor worms or not.
at 22:31 he is using maybe the only ghost notes while playing at whole show... Right time,right part to add these notes...Ofcourse he can add ghost notes in every their songs but being a good drummer does not mean you need play FULL ! you need to find your own drum parts that song needs ! thank you JET ! In 2010 we played together in Istanbul. Best memories big brother !
