For those who want to memorize the Qur’an: Reduce the number of verses or pages you memorize each day and more than the repetition and keep the continuity and keep asking for forgiveness
@Gg He meant one should memorize limited verses per day e.g: 5. Then repeat it frequently so it stick to the memory. It's better than memorizing lots of verses per day without frequent repetition which may lead to forgetting. Secondly, sins or engaging in sinful acts can make Qur'an depart from one's memory. So, seeking Allah's forgiveness will help. Allah will forgive those sins and with your closeness to the Qur'an and Allah's mercy, committing sins will be difficult for you because Allah will make your piety and Qur'an to serve as a Protective shield betweenyou and shaytaan, in shaa Allah.

There is a wonderful relationship between them: the teacher is patient and corrects even the smallest imperfection, but occasionally praises his student with "ahsant" (you did well), and the boy tries hard and learns.

This boy is intelligent. You can tell bu his eyes. Such a shinning eyes and he is predicting his teachers next moves and responding to them on run time basis. Such a genius. Imagine this seminary in a hilly area without worldly interruptions.
I am actually shocked. I found a clip of this video awhile back on instagram and really loved the boy’s recitation. I didn’t know where to find it and just now, it popped up on my recommendation SubhanAllah. Allah made me find this video. I am so happy. Alhamdulillah.

@Gg He meant one should memorize limited verses per day e.g: 5. Then repeat it frequently so it stick to the memory.
It's better than memorizing lots of verses per day without frequent repetition which may lead to forgetting.
Secondly, sins or engaging in sinful acts can make Qur'an depart from one's memory. So, seeking Allah's forgiveness will help.
Allah will forgive those sins and with your closeness to the Qur'an and Allah's mercy, committing sins will be difficult for you because Allah will make your piety and Qur'an to serve as a Protective shield betweenyou and shaytaan, in shaa Allah.

I noticed that too and thought it was beautiful how the boy watches his teacher so closely and attentively. There is a wonderful relationship between them: the teacher is patient and corrects even the smallest imperfection, but occasionally praises his student with "ahsant" (you did well), and the boy tries hard and learns.
This boy has his ghunna's and long alif's mastered like none I've ever heard. This video inspired me to improve my recitation and I'm 37
