This is an outstanding presentation by far the best I have seen.
In May 2010 I was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer which was removed then followed by 6 months of
    chemotherapy.
I was given a prognosis of 5 years as a statistical average but after 10 years since my op I'm still here.
I was due for the removal of a small polyp in February however because of covid 19 this was delayed
until now which means a more complicated surgery.
Thank you Alireza for the cool, calm and collected information.
I hope I'm in the safe hands of someone like you.

I had a colonoscopy 12/7/2021 and I just had another one May 20/2022, at Kaiser San Diego.. My gastro says i am stull benign but he is baffled as to why this one polyp keeps coming back. I feel comfortable with him, but after watching this Dr. Sedarat, this M.D., really made me feel so comfortable. His voice, his demeanor, the whole presentation really relaxed me. Thank you Dr. Sedarat. I am so thankful for you. Blessings!

There are several factors in reducing nose polyps at home . One place I discovered which succeeds in merging these is the Jits Polyp Plan (google it if you're interested) without a doubt the most incredible plan that I've heard of. look at the incredible info .

There are several tips to try
use a saline rinse - this is a great way to keep your nose healthy
eat chili peppers - these have capsaicin which can reduce nose polyps .
Use Tea Tree Oil - dilute first then swab the polyps with it - this can shrink polpys and reduce symptoms.
Eat foods high in anioxidants - broccoli, citrus fruits etc - these help cure nose polyps naturally.
(I learned these and why they work from jits polyp plan site )

Wonderful discussion. I had a polyp resection by an endoscopist @ Chapel Hill NC in 2016. I chose no sedation,it was underwater and a truly amazing experience. It astounds me the things that can be done in such a delicate area as the colon. Anyway, everything came out ok and I've had two follow up colonoscopies and so far,so good. My next scope is in 4 years.
I wanted to thank you,and other GI Doctors for the amazing work you do to enhance people's lives. Anyway,I do hope you will give more lectures,as you are a very good speaker.

Shalom. So Dr. Sedarat mentioned that the punchline of this whole talk is that 95% of colorectal polyps, even the big ones, don't require surgery to be removed. With that said, would modern endoscopy be the only alternative to remove colon polyps? What are the natural/holistic remedies that will obliterate colon polyps?

He said it was precancerous and I asked him why he didn't take out the whole thing. He said he wanted to be careful not to rupture the colon... 5 weeks ago I had a 20mm sessile adenoma polyp, at the dentate line, removed. It was discovered on a routine colonoscopy and removed in 2 sections. But 6 months later it recurred, was tattooed and I was referred to a colorectal surgeon. I chose to have the polyp removed. Unfortunately, I was one of the 2-5% that experienced post-op hemorrhage. Fortunately, I was in the PACU and taken back to the OR STAT. Recovery was a challenge but I am very glad I had the surgery.

The 'possible' consequences of a polyp removal are not fun to imagine or have to endure. I just went through a polyp removal in my cecum. After the pre-colonoscopy, the colonoscopy, and the removal....it's A LOT to deal with!! Makes you wonder if all of this is Really necessary??? I think Everyone should have a camera whoomped up their tushy, then have some precious skin tag Seared off!!! I'm still tender from the procedure. I'm thinking....Never Again!!!

I see it differently. I had several removed three years ago. Thankfully benign. Been very unwell and had upper endoscope and colonoscopy yesterday and had 2 more polyps removed and biopsy taken. Hopefully they too will come back benign. Regular colonoscopy is so important, particularly if you have had polyps in the past. I really hope you speak to your doctor about your negative feelings about your procedure and reluctance to repeat regular colonoscopy (usually every 5 years unless medical cause to require earlier schedule). Gastric and colon cancer is on the rise and one of the most rapidly growing cancer world wide, yet also easily caught early, often before precancerous polyps develop into early or advanced cancers. It's uncomfortable and I definitely didn't enjoy my day yesterday at all. I sympathize with you. I also hope you'll talk with your doctor for clarity about the value and importance of regular follow-up scopes.
