I have a similar trailer, I need to add some angle gussets off the front tube (the tube that the hitch receiver extends out to) because both sides wobble a little going down the road, would be much stronger with triangles coming off of them and tying into the next cross support angle! I definitely want to make the front of my trailer taller but not tall all the way around to the gate, maybe just front and then have it angle down to its original height, I like the ability to step onto it from the sides a little with the gate up still
What type of wheel did you use to grind off the coating on the metal? Is it a special sized cut off wheel?

How do you make money with scrap metal
scrap yards buy metal and other types of things like aluminum cans, wires, appliances and other things
Nice job, looks great man. too bad you never had any bed frames to save on the angle iron. free scrap is always the shizz, especially when it can be put to use on cool projects.
YEA!!!! but $65 wasnt that bad i just got the same size the whole trailer was made of...and i am loving how much i can fit in their now and not needing to use 5 straps to hold everything in

Hey Marcus I know I'm female but about 10 years ago I made a trailer from just a chassis with my dad and it's still being used today xx
Being female has absolutely nothing to do with acomplishments, and i'll bet your dad is still proud of the project you made together. II know I love every time my daughter helps me with things. WTG
yea like zombie said being female has nothing to do with it....and being a dad with a small daughter he is def very proud of you and prob thinks about you everytime he uses that trailer!!!! that is so awesome!!!! Your awesome!!!!!!! my daughter helps me scrap and cut stuff up and its so fun doing things with the kid and making memories like that!!! Thanks for watching!!!!
Sadly my dad passed away 3 yrs ago so mum gave it away but when I see it ti always brings happy memories using angle grinders welding which I loved thanks guys xx

find some more that stuff and do the same with your other trailer you got- matter fact isn't the new one bigger?? you could really put more stuff in the trailer when you have appliances like that fridge now that you have the sides you can stand it up and put way more then that in the trailer.. maybe set your self a goal of $30 to see if you can get a load with that trailer to get that amount.. you should be able to get a min of 50$ a day in scrap runs to the yard with the mods' you made to increase capacity .
yea now i can def fit a lot more and dont need to scrap everything down all the time...bigger loads to the yard!
You made that look "easy" ? AND look how it's built hahahahaha. YOU can even patch it if need be is something bends it or whatever.
