Bro may I know limit for resistor if don't have size 5 ohm 2w, it so hard to find in my area

I found my resistor has blown due to heat. I suppose some higher value would fit like 8 Ohm 5W or plug a small relay. Will update you once done.

what you did with the temperature connector which was connected on the original thermostate

It is not a temperature sensor but to heat the thermostat electrically by ecu. So I plugged 5 ohm 2W resistor to the connector. No errors.

I did search. The thermostat opens at 95° or 96° as I remembered. Will check again and confirm when I plug the scanner.
