This version makes me feel more melancholic for some reason. Maybe it's because it's already a depressing and lonely song, and the 8 bit feel of it just made it sound more " Down the memory lane" by reminding me of playing games back in those days.
True, if i were to listen to this song ten years from now (if i were able to live till then) i would imagine this being incredibly and painfully nostalgic. Heck it sort of already is even in 2020.
@@YamacKocovali7 I know this song for like 3 years and everytime i hear it i feel like i'm reviving a memory from my childhood I wonder how nostalgic it will be to listen 10 years from now
Imagine the new way of Fire Emblem, how everything is so incredibly different from the way it used to be, how we have culture now, that of the Japanese and European, shown in the music, the dress, the names, the weapons, the way of life, but in those older FE games. I've only played as far back as Blazing Sword of course because that's all that is accessible to me, but imagine it. Fire Emblem was so different back then... that's all I'm reminiscing on as I listen to this.
+Watermelon KC Agreed. The game is what you make of it. Sure I'll make fun of some of the changes but the game has become nothing but better. And if someone doesn't like Phoenix mode, try playing Lunatic. I've yet to finish my Luna file in Awakening.
Fates had a lot of potential for world-building and character relationships, but instead it focused on its cliched plot which doesn't bring anything new to the table. Imo even if the story doesn't feel new, at least it should've memorable characters, which Fates lacks.
Well the plot was fairly new to the Fire Emblem franchise. And some characters were memorable, I'd say. But that's a matter of opinion. It's especially funny with Fire Emblem as we reuse characters. e.g. Nino, Ewan, Ricken, and that kid whose name begins with an H, Hayata or whatever (not rememorable lol) are all essentially the same. Nino less so, but they're all the young mage who fights ahead of their years.
What about the plot is innovative, exactly? My problem with Fates is that it's just a giant circle jerk for Corrin the entire time, when Corrin is a complete idiot.
Helaman Sung You have a good point. It's just a radically different game from all the rest. I've only played Birthright of the three so I really don't know ALL of Corrin but I see your point.
No but really. This needs more views. It's a beautiful version of Hitori Omou. I wish this could be an Easter egg song in FEF (Fire Emblem Fates) It is really calming and I am in love with the Azura sprite! I also like how it gives it the feel of it being from an 8-bit theme you'd hear in the old FE games.
I could definitely listen to this for studying or even as a lullaby aspect. The sounds blend together so well, and it's so peaceful compared to the vocal track. Not that there's anything wrong with the vocal track of it, but this just works so well!
Engage’s design and overall music kinda let me down. i really do enjoy the 4 hounds soundtrack but oh my lord the story is kinda stereotypical and reused. Plus only got attatched to marni A NPC BOSS. I thought radiant dawn, three houses, awakening, and fates where a slight improvement but engage really set in stone the series is focusing more on the anime weeaboo aspects.
This sounds like it would play in a church location in an older RPG game. It's good!
it does.
Agree
Its so true i love this comment

@@renren47618 It'll make me cry from nostalgia, I can say that for sure
It's really soft for an 8-bit song. Most are loud and blaring, but this is soft and quiet, it's nice
Sounds like a Soundtrack you’d hear at a healing spring.
Fairy Fountain theme: "Am I a joke to you?" (Ok, joking aside, I actually agree with this comment.)
@@gameroak007 ((We can never forget the iconic Fairy Fountain, though.))
@@estellahavisham2920 That is definitely true. But this song is amazing as well.
心地いいから一日の終わりに耳をリセットするつもりで聞いてる

Princessuuke Why it wouldn't be that hard to anyway!
That Azura's pixel art looks hella crisp!

これはこれでめっちゃ好き
めっちゃよき…
Randomly saw Lost in Thoughts All Alone in reco and after clicking it, weirdly about to cry when I heard this song after quite some years
大好きです
this is great. made me fall sleep quite a few times
I'm I the only one who sits there and grinds the characters up so that they don't die.
if thier scripted to die then all that time is wasted
@Avon The Avocado oh a friend, hello there!
10 dislikes in three years?
It is both amazing that in three years not many people hate it
And bad as people actually dislike this
Don't rule out people accidently pressing the dislike button
めっちゃ良い。語彙なさすぎてそれしか言えない。
Brand time happiest Fire Emblem 2021!
Man this needs more attention as I love this rendition of Lost in Thoughts.
Such a great job it's so calming.

Amazing
It already has one. (joking but there's a couple of NES/SNES FE songs that were inspiration for this song I think)
Oh really? I never knew that. Would that kind of stuff be on the Wiki?

Did you make this using GXSCC?
I like it, but it seems a bit cluttered.
download link?
use youtube to mp3
Manchmal kommt einem die 8bit Version schöner vor als eine Hightech überarbeitete Version.
Irgendwie seltsam. ^_^

Ja, äh, gut würde ich sagen.
Renatus6 Hehe.
+Renatus6 Ich stimme zu.

Can I do a cover on this? Link will be in the description, I promise.
May I*
GXSCC isn't 8-bit.
It does sound different from the 8-bit I have heard. Perhaps the song would be unrecognizable in the proper 8-bit?
Nope. It's just super duper lazy. Literally downloaded and then loaded up a MIDI in GXSCC instead of putting forth the effort to make a proper cover.
Yo chill no need for hate
RED T. HEDGY legitimate criticism isn’t hate
Corn Mono it’s not 8-bit. Way too complex
Anankos could have been one hell of a musician
