Try to find an FFL that is knowledgeable and moves a lot of suppressors. I've actually found that they're even easier to get suppressors through than SS. I've already ordered from distributors that carry hard to find stuff and had them form 3 it to my LGS, they helped me with the paperwork, did my electronic fingerprints and photo, and gave me 2 envelopes to send out. One for the ATF and one for my CLEO.
@@FXIIBeaver I think the OCM5 just has the same mounting system and exterior, pretty sure the baffle stack is a bit different Not sure if that’s under license or just a straight ripoff and AE doesn’t care enough to sue, but the OCL guys have a pretty decent track record for NOT being shitheads so I’d assume it’s the former
@@fakename287 I could have swore Allen announced he was leaving to focus on other things and OCL was taking over AEM5 production. But apparently I am misremembering.
Aem3 is the k version of the aem5 with a different mounting system. So the aem5k is basically the aem3 baffle stack but with the aem5 mounting system. If that makes sense. It's not that much louder than the aem5, for the size the aem3 is pretty nice
I have an awful sense of scale, so help me put it into perspective- how much longer would a 18-inch barrel Mk.12 with AEM5K be compared to a 16-inch barrel Mk.12 Mod.H with AEM5, assuming everything else (such as lower receiver) being exactly the same? Thank you.
The original OPS inc founded by Phil Serberger (sorry if I misspelled that) closed it doors and Ron Allen their machinist continued making the suppressors under his own last name (Allen Engineering) for a number of years before retiring and handing the torch off recently to these new guys who are still continuing to make these cans exactly as they always have been made.
Yep. Really overshadows the information the video is trying to convey. If I wanted to listen to Papa Roach or whatever, I would look the music video up on RUclips.
Man you guys need to team up with silencershop and make these easier to get.

Came for the suppressors and stayed for Local H
Keep it copacetic.
Hard to focus on the words with the absolute slapper playing in the background
Me the whole time:
“And ya just don’t get it, keep it copacetic…”
At first I had a hard time listening over the background music, but then I learned to accept it.
Met Bryan in person twice in some shooting events, talked about suppressors, noveske upper nd different builds. Pretty chill dude to talk to
For the algorithm. I love your stuff👍. My AEM5 is awesome and the new K version would be perfect for my Mod H.
When the NFA is repealed I’ll definitely get a couple of these.
Interesting. Having an AEM5 and a few hosts already setup for it this K version might be worth getting some day.
I didn't know Allen Engineering was still around
I thought they handed off the 5 to otter creek.
@@FXIIBeaverwrong. Production was taken over by Trajectory Arms a few years back, and now they’re rebranding to AE.
@@Jay_Spesh_Stay_Fresh so how did otter creek get the AEM5? Did Allen sell off the company?

Whats the difference in the two baffles stacks? Just less baffles? How much louder is the 5k compared to the Aem5?

The music is too much guys. My tisms were going crazy. I retained no information about the products I was very interested in learning about.
I'm here for it, bro.
The urge to finish my Mk12 clone intensifies.
Nice song choice

the aem5k is 1.4 inches shorter than the aem5, so the 18" inch platform (mod 1/0) would be .6 inches longer in your configuration described
Is this a flow through design?
$2,800 for that 1st gun ooofa!!!
OK I FUCK WITH YALL HEAVY NOW
Dude... DUDE! AWESOME!
Whats the song its awesome?
Local H "Bound for the floor"

Hey, I know that shop
I like music as much as the next guy, but it’s not doing you any favors here.
I thought this company went out of business after the military stopped using the Mk 12

Someone needs to put a can on the tunes. Totally unnecessary and distracting as all get out.
Turn off the music. Were here to listen to you not the music.

Take your meds little bro
lower the volume of the background music
You shut your mouth! 😂
Second that or go with a version without lyrics.
Or just go without it. 🤷
