CanSOF C8 CQB Build Overview
Special thanks to @sleipnirthehorse for providing us with this great build. CanSOF builds don't have a lot of information about them, but there are a few photos in circulation. The CanSOF rifles used the OPS INC 15th model (Allen Engineering AEM3) and consisted mostly of Diemaco (Colt Canada) parts.

Allen Engineering AEM5k
Просмотров 10 тыс.14 дней назад
A blend between the AEM5 and the AEM3, the AEM5K features an A-length mount and the shorter AEM3 baffles. This configuration offers a simple swap from a longer A-length can using the same hardware while only being slightly longer than an AEM3. Differences in sound and flash performance between the AEM3 and AEM5K are negligible. While this longer mount does prevent it from being used on as many ...

Allen Engineering Brake & Collar Kit

The brake & collar mounting system is one of the unique features of the Allen Engineering system. It provides increased precision and durability by providing two separate mounting surfaces to align your suppressor. This video is to help you understand what will come in your kit and how to properly install it.
Allen Engineering AEM5-30

The AEM5-30 is the 30cal version of the AEM5. It is exclusive to Allen Engineering although is borrows its design from Ops Inc suppressors. The AEM5-30 uses the M24 baffle stack and the AEM5 1st section. This makes the AEM5-30 compatible with MK12s or a barrels that use the AEM5 brake and collar system. The 30cal baffle stack allows it to mount to any 30cal rifle.

Allen Engineering M4
Просмотров 12 тыс.Год назад
The M4 is a modified Ops Inc. 3rd Model that adds a 5.56 baffle stack and keeps the direct thread 1st section. The M4 was designed directly thread onto a 14.5" M4 Carbine with the simple instillation of a 3-piece collar that interfaces with the front sight block. The M4 suppressor was notably used by MSG. Gary Gordon during The Battle of Mogadishu. This event was depicted in the 2001 movie Blac...
I like music as much as the next guy, but it’s not doing you any favors here.
hey so if I want to run a AEM5 on a 11.5 can I do so with a similar config using the M4 adapter but using the brake or std AE muzzle device?
Someone needs to put a can on the tunes. Totally unnecessary and distracting as all get out.
🤙🏼😂🇺🇸😎
Is this a flow through design?
Dat A1 removable carry handle.....didnt one of the very early 80% companies make them, I think they made AR lowers, 1911 80%s, sig 226 80%s among other things?
Those tri-rails are very hard to acquire. I don’t think they were ever sold commercially. They would all be issued ones that got “lost”. Initially made for the C7A1 or A2 I believe since there was no other way to put a PEQ on them. I remember using them on a C7A1.
When the NFA is repealed I’ll definitely get a couple of these.
The music makes this lame. If you want to make a playlist the join Spotify not RUclips.
Nice choice of background music
Anyone ever tell you that you kinda look like M Shadows from A7X?
Somewhat accurate. The CSOR guys have legacy A2 uppers. Get an H&R upper.
Based build and background music!
Interesting. Having an AEM5 and a few hosts already setup for it this K version might be worth getting some day.
Those charging handles get caught on shit all the time.
This is a really good video. I so want to build one now!
That is a very cool little rifle. Thanks for introducing me to my new crush. 🖤
AE it was great to see my build being featured and the history being told about CanSOF. I honestly couldn’t have been able to finish this without you guys and Ron. Hopefully we can see more Canada builds get built and even see the C8SFW suppressor collar. If yall ever drop one that’ll be the next one I build for sure.
3:40 unless that’s a different lower from the one used in the build then it’s a Made in Canada Colt LE. Says so right next to the bolt release.
You would be correct. The lower was a from a Colt Canada 16” rifle that was later sbr’d. The upper itself is from a Colt Canada 11.5 inch rifle that was imported for law-enforcement. Unfortunately, the lower wasn’t able to be transferred to civilian hands due to import restrictions on NFA items. Colt was not able to import these directly to law-enforcement due to the restrictions. Colt Canada had to sell these to law-enforcement directly and as they retire these they hit the second hand market.
@ yeah I’ve got one of the Made in Canada A3 lowers. Obv not clone correct markings, but way cooler to have an actual Diemaco IMO.
Thats what she said at 4:07
Bad Attitude Department makes a C7 and C8 marked lower
Just adding here to note: Bad Attitude Dept makes clone C7 and C7A2 lowers
Colt Canada made C7 clones for the Canadian market up here before Trudeau banned AR-15’s and all variants. Hoping our next government will reverse that, a couple gun shops still have them in inventory.
That thing almost "dripped" out of your hands dude. Keep a tight grip on it! Such a cool and little known rifle.
Where can 1 find that collar? Looking for those collars. Also, old is new nd new is old now
I wish Brian would hold me like the C8CQB
When are you stocking gordon m4 and aem5ks?
Ugh… ads to “THE” list
keep this content style going, its great
Allen Engineering once again proving they're the industry leaders in music taste
Lmfaoooooo
bro was just thinking the same lol. Editor has great taste
are you going to make the collar?
At this point I'm subbed to the channel just for the playlist
Another Banger in the background
I'd be helpful to know the dimensional specs of this suppressor in order to see whether this would fit on a certain build, especially the depth of the shrouded part (i.e. the length from the rear end to the 1/2x28 thread shoulder).
At first I had a hard time listening over the background music, but then I learned to accept it.
Local H mentioned
Listening to this guy talk is like watching old people f*ck while the wall paint dries.
We need a video on the m24
OK I FUCK WITH YALL HEAVY NOW
The music is too much guys. My tisms were going crazy. I retained no information about the products I was very interested in learning about.
Met Bryan in person twice in some shooting events, talked about suppressors, noveske upper nd different builds. Pretty chill dude to talk to
Hey, I know that shop
The urge to finish my Mk12 clone intensifies.
🇺🇸
Dude... DUDE! AWESOME!
For the algorithm. I love your stuff👍. My AEM5 is awesome and the new K version would be perfect for my Mod H.
I'm here for it, bro.
I didn't know Allen Engineering was still around
I thought they handed off the 5 to otter creek.
@@FXIIBeaverwrong. Production was taken over by Trajectory Arms a few years back, and now they’re rebranding to AE.
@@Jay_Spesh_Stay_Fresh so how did otter creek get the AEM5? Did Allen sell off the company?
@@FXIIBeaver I think the OCM5 just has the same mounting system and exterior, pretty sure the baffle stack is a bit different Not sure if that’s under license or just a straight ripoff and AE doesn’t care enough to sue, but the OCL guys have a pretty decent track record for NOT being shitheads so I’d assume it’s the former
@@fakename287 I could have swore Allen announced he was leaving to focus on other things and OCL was taking over AEM5 production. But apparently I am misremembering.
Nice song choice
$2,800 for that 1st gun ooofa!!!
LOCAL H WOOOOOOHHHH
