- The Tampa-based nonprofit "We Are The Essentials" told 8 On Your Side they are the ones who discovered the body believed to be Sylvia Pagan on Surona Rd.

So sad. If the searchers were on site for only 15 minutes before she was found, how did they know where to search? I am not currently in Florida, so am not familiar with this case.

Most likely based on info about the route the murderer had after kidnapping and murder, or where was seen his vehicle.
If look on a topo map, you see ravenes, forests, places where to dump a body. The smell leaded them so quick to her.

Most likely used his phone to see where he was at, they can see how long someone was in a certain area based off their GPS in the phone. As long as it was on. His phone probably pinged in that area, and they most likely looked everywhere his phone was pinging

If mental illness was a higher priority than planned parenthood this would have been avoidable. She would most likely be alive today, and a child would still have her mother. The suspect would have done the world a favor had he just taken himself off the map first and not take any one with him. But here we are. Sad.
