@johnhelems721 no I've got a 19 foot Lund with a low emissions 150 Mercury bought it 2 years old look like new motor had less than 70 hours paid 15,000 cash yes I got a great deal
Why would they put those rod straps so close to the front of the boat? It be rough to find room for 2 people up there without having to move rods every time.
Bear in mind this is a 20 foot boat, now look at how much rod tip hands off the deck. If they put the rod straps any further back then there would be too much rod hanging off the deck or smacking the console.
Why doesn’t Vexus list dry weight for their boats? The brand was at the top of my list for purchase but due to no information on the weight of the their boats I assume they’re much lighter than other models. If that is the case then I’m not interested because I don’t want a light boat when on the water between 65-70 mph.
honestly I think they are on the heavier side and that's why they don't list it. they are great rough water boats and not going to win many races. it's the original ranger guys and ranger has always been tanks but for some reason the bass community wants to be able to run 80 mph bas as soon as a boat wake comes you're flying through the air
Definitely heavier, with very little plastic & fiberglass compartment lids, this is a tank. So much innovation and luxury touches in Vexus boats, what the Ranger guys were known for, for many years!
Uhh Vexus DOES list the weights. Right on the website scroll to the bottom and click on capacities and specifications for whatever model you want. This boat is listed at 4200 pounds which is roughly double every other 20 footer on the market. Vexus uses vacuum sealed molds when making the hulls and it adds weight. If you don't want a light boat, then this or a Ranger is your rig
Great review
What kind of recalls are there on this brand of boats I see issues with the welds what else
I actually prefer aluminum deck lids. The fiberglass lids aren't as good long term as I've had both. Nice boat though
These glass lids don’t have wood in between. Key difference
I actually prefer a BOAT UNDER 100,000.00. Theses boats are getting out of hand 125,000.00 for a boat I'm not a millionaire
You’ll have to stick to a nitro

Ranger 520R is a true tournament loaded 70mph plus boat
Definitely heavier, with very little plastic & fiberglass compartment lids, this is a tank. So much innovation and luxury touches in Vexus boats, what the Ranger guys were known for, for many years!
They are on the heavier side. They will run good but are still heavy lol
