@@ramonlevario12 that's why I said to build a truck lol. It would take to much to make that 6.0 reliable and competitive through a whole week. Do t get me wrong 6.0s are decent after you fix all the issues. I have 1. Only issues I have are transmission apply clutches

A stock 7.3 isnt going to be able to keep up with these trucks when they have them running, looks like most ran out of time not money, even a 7.3 with 3 grand stuck into it, will be about as fast as a 6.0 that is bone stock. Not even tuned

Should have your tuner build you a tune with decel fuel cutoff and a good trans tune that stays locked up and doesn’t down shift till almost stopped…..helps fuel mileage a TON

We demand a recount on the fuel economy test!
There's no amount of tuning that will ever make up for the amount of air a stage 3 charger moves, you need bigger nozzles at a minimum to cool down that truck, same goes for nitrous... further more increasing the oxygen in your fuel air mixture. You run nitrous to clean up heavy fuel conditions. I've got a feeling you plan on putting big injectors in that unit after this competition, because that truck will never burn right in its current configuration
What? Bigger injectors will make it burn hotter.
Lean is cold in a diesel, rich is hot.
Bigger injectors only make a truck run hotter when you don't have the air to clean them up, there's two ends of the spectrum, being overly lean from big air is hot, being overly rich is from big fuel is hot, you have to match your charger to your injectors.

What's in the package? I don't think I've ever seen a 2wd z71. I always assumed that the z71 has a rear diff locker.

From what I see 10k will get you nothing in the diesel world lol
It all depends, I got a meticulously maintained 99 7.3 for 7k, not a leak or drop anywhere, would have the budget for injectors, stage 1 turbo and a Hydra and have the most reliable truck there
