I met Janis a couple of times on concert signing lines, and I saw countless concerts. She is just a gift, and so impressive as a songwriter. I feel priviliged to see her play.
After all these years, Janis still writes and performs beautiful and touching songs. And you know that she means every word, every note that she writes, with all sincerity. It's a privilege to have followed her career.
Such a great song from a great songwriter and person. I met Janis in Chatham in November at a sold out concert. Janis is a true talent and a great musician. I read her book and she mentioned about having her Martin D18 guitar stolen and I wrote to her telling her I have one also and can imagine how she felt because many of her great songs were written on it. I'm so glad I got to meet her. :)
