Very impressive. Well done Sweden I would love to see this. Thank you Goran and well done also for this video which shows a 17c fighting ship size extremely well.

Thank you for sharing your home movie … While watching I noticed your very good at moving the camera around I was impressed. You really made the visit a real treat. Thank you so much for sharing … By the way I have a handmade wooden model of the ship is so cool. I wish I had the surreal one though its extra cool. Take care please and thank you

@@jeffrenman4146 thank you for the kind words! The camera is a DJI Pocket 2, it has the lens on a gimbal which smooths out the movement of the hand and the rotations, that’s why it is so smooth.

Vasa had 2 sisterships and one have been found sunk as a wreck . They should add those to this collection before its too late.

Very tall! Very skinny! Whenever the height outcomes, the width, it will always become an error. Sometimes, it is a tragic error 😔. But a magnificent ship 🚢 nonetheless.

Without that fatal error we never would see and experience this marvel of failure. We are lucky now but then a kings grandiose wishes to impress did not go well. But he really wrote his name in the history books. No doubt about that. 🙂

I built a few boats and right away I can See that it is too skinny in the mid and back Of the ship I don't know how that was overlooked😢 You figured they would have built some test models But I guess with I two year build Time Maybe not a very thorough one anyways

The Vasa was built between 1626 and 1628, that's how warships were then. But there were also design errors, e.g. Swedish King Gustav Adolf ordered the addition of a second row of guns during construction, which changed the ship's proportions and was partly responsible for Vasa's sinking on her maiden voyage.

Imonerande, jag såg Vasa redan kort efter hon togs upp ur strömmen.
