Per your sunday comment: I think skipping the initial impressions is a good idea in order to do more full reviews (which we love). Perhaps just a comment or two on Sunday smoke for the first impression would suffice. Love the channel!
@@foxus It is true, and the flavour obviously does change over weeks and months. Perhaps a first impression followed by a follow up could be good. Love the channel either way
Bradley, TobaccoPipes.com (in Florida) carries a number of Fribourg & Treyer blends, including Cut Virginia Plug. Unfortunately, this blend was also out of stock as of today. But several of the brand's other blends were in stock now. Prices were all just over $10 for the 50g tins. Nother great review! Thanks!
I have found sometimes the additives in a blend, if used judiciously, can amp up the tobacco flavors. Germain Medium Flake comes to mind. I love it, but I know some folks who don't like it cuz of the toppings. As always, to each his own..... Watching your trials with Cut Virginia Plug almost ruined my most excellent bowl of Dunbar, but thankfully it didn't. I thought you should know.
I do not like aromatic blends at all, or at least I *was* sure of that before having Daughters & Ryan London Dock. It is really very good (probably because it uses real coumarin) and always satisfying and gets plenty of positive commentary from passerbys. You should try D&R London Dock. That's my recommendation.
No tobacco shall be tobacco,i stopped smoking a pipe just for the suspicion of added tastes.this is definetley not for me .Thank you for preventing me from a disappointment.
Coffee, is added flavor to water. Sodas like, Dr. Pepper, and Coke, (loaded with sugar) are flavorings to water. I'm surprised that plain water isn't your only drink!

On my side I like the process of building a final opinion in two steps and seeing how it evolved :-)

I disagree. Coffee is like the tobacco, water acts as the flame. ;-)

Uhm, I meant it the other way around. My bad.
