The Bengals lost the game in the 1st quarter when they went for it on 4th down at the 50 yard line, and the score was still 0-0. That's a call you make in the 4th quarter if you're behind. They gave the ball back to the Rams at the 50. Rams scored their 1st touchdown off of that ridiculous call. As soon as they went for it and failed and turned the ball over to the Rams on the 50, who marched straight down the field and scored, I said to myself "Bengals just lost this game."

Also the Bengals will be back... if they can get Joe better protection and maybe a few pieces on the defense no reason why they wont be back to the SB. Both teams are likable and ultimately the better team did win.
This was expected. I can’t believe there were people really thinking the Bengals were going to win. Whether it was going to be close or a blowout, this was the Rams’s game to lose.

If they run the ball twice they get the first down and they can stop the clock and keep throwing for the end zone. Instead they run once, fail, and go for a pass play and get sacked one yard away from first down. Whoever called that play should be fired. I agree the better team won but it was still winnable for the Bengals.
@@antoniomatthews4459 I think just one holding call
This is what happens when people wanna be all wishy-washy and say "oh let them play!" then when their team loses wanna talk about missed penalties lol
The offensive line woes of the Bengals caught up with then finally. I felt like that was going to be the difference. The Bengals need to sure up that offensive line this offseason.
I am glad it turned out to be a good game.
If the Bengals get a decent O-line upgrade , they will be very hard to stop.
@@howarddavid31 That’s right. Mixon is a good back and probably could take pressure off the Bengals and Burrow with a better line. And we have already seen that Burrow is great when he has time in the pocket.
Wouldn't been a close game if, Odell didn't get hurt. Odell one on one, had the Bengals defense on their heels. Ready to collapse.. congratulations to the best team in the league L.A. Rams. Aaron Donald best player in the league!!
Going back to last night, I’ve never seen NFL players form up like Voltron to disrespect a player like they did Eli Apple.
They despise that man lmaoooooo
Bro huh fwolf!
Yeah, lit up Twitter like a Christmas tree!😂😂😂
I like the bengals but I’m so happy they lost I didn’t feel like hearing about how burrow is the 2nd coming of Brady all off season
Good point. It would have gotten so far out of control it's a relief in that sense. Good work 👍
Burrows is young. He’s got plenty of time for that ring. Happy to see Rams take it.
@@toddstarks226 He won't last long enough to get one with that line.
@@yung-tuwei2284 I hear ya. He did get beat up a tad;)
Yeah me either lol. To much hype
Happy for Aaron Donald, Kupp and Stafford as a ✭ fan. Was rooting for the miracle underdog because that would’ve been one of the best runs of all time if the Bengals won it.
A once in a lifetime run by the Bengals. No one expected them to beat Tennessee and most of us thought Kansas City had it in the bag. I think the Bengals come crashing back down to Earth next season.
Reminds me of the '09 postseason where Carolina was the best team in football and Arizona came in out of nowhere and completely destroyed them. They went on to the Super Bowl and ended up losing to Pittsburgh. Just like then, I was rooting for the underdog.
I think the Bengals were lucky. If OBJ hadnt been hurt they wouldnt have even been in it at all.
This was championship or bust for this squad and they lived up to the expectations! Props to the Bengals, but the Rams got the job done!
rams got a gem thats kupp, also AD was clutch and competitive. Stafford is so lucky to be adopted by that team.
This was the superbowl wrap up I've been waiting for the whole day 👌😂
Really wanted the Bengals to win but it was awesome seeing the rams be exactly who they're supposed to be. And Aaron Donald proved his greatness
Least they got afc championship ring.
Yeah glad all a team has to do in the NFL is spend big money off free agents might as well not even have a draft
@@hunvb Lmao, oh stop it. They already had a complete team through the draft at the key positions, cam akers was the least peice didnt need anymore they had the veterans they wanted to finish off the puzzle so they gave away all them draft picks for a reason.
But that team came together.
@@omega-manthe8346 so you're telling me they'd be in the same position without all the all pros they picked up?
@@hunvb
MVP Kupp was a draft pick.
How many folks thought that was a wasted pick at that time?
Quite a few!
Plus free agent pickups don't do much without a good team as a base.
Bengals have tons of free agents as well
I was impressed by the Bengals defense more than anything else I saw from last night's game.
Solid performance.
Well that really doesn’t say much when the Rams don’t have OBJ , Robert Woods & Tyler Higbee out of the game. The Rams too 3 receivers don’t play (OBJ for the majority of the game) and it evens out the playing field. I honestly believe if everyone was healthy , the game would not have been as close but the Bengals made it a game.
@@howarddavid31 I agree with everything you said but for who was all on the field they played a pretty good game.
Bengals D really stepped up, got them to that game and they played well
As someone who has had the pleasure of seeing Donald, first in HS then in college, you can't understand until it's in person how good he really is.
Defense wins championships and that was definitely true last night. The Rams defense balled out last night and I'm so glad the Rams won and are World Champs. So many guys deserved to win the game and frankly they were the better team. Congratulations to the Rams on getting it done. Let's go Rams!!!
22 drop backs 7 sacks? I'm i blown..but Legit Defense!! Very impressive 👏🏾 👌🏾 👍🏾
Last night was a good and crazy reminder that this was Burows second season in the league and really his first full season coming off a season ending injury! This dude can have one heck of a career if they can get him any form of protection.
Wont come close.
Didn’t Tee Higgins almost rip Jalen Ramsay’s face off on that TD pass and there was a no call.
Kupp is a problem. I don't think any team can actually cover him properly for a whole game.
He's certainly proved that over the last couple of years.
Wilson/Lockette, Burrow/Chase, Rogers/Adams, Mahomes/Kelce, Allen/Diggs...
All great tandems
They can't cover him. Proof is that everybody knows that stafford is looking for him, and most likely going his way, and he still gets open with these unorthodox triple shuffle of the feet. One of the best football players because of his athleticism, and even more because of his football IQ. He studies the game like no other. He is a bad man!
Shannon with the button up under the RAMS 🐏 UNI is WET🔥💧😬
That jersey so small on Shannon it look like he has shoulder pads under it 😂😭😭😭
Yoo I thought he did 😂😂😂
That was all part of his plan
thanks you NFL for the memorable post-season and an amazing halftime show 🎉 🎈at the SuperBowl!
dis what i was waiting on 😂
Love seeing Shannon wearing the Rams jersey. L.A.RAMS are World Champions baby!
I gotta admit rams D line did their thing
The best Super Bowl I've seen all the way around since the Steelers won their last Super Bowl against the Cardinals
how does this impact lebron’s career though??
Michael Jeffrey Jordan would never let Donald get to burrows. He would have ran on the field and destroyed him
😂😂😂
@@akap6729 he would have blocked von and aaron every single play, he was that good
What an exciting game that really could have gone either way. These teams put on a good show. NFL playoffs is so exciting just like march madness because of the 1 and done factor.
Wait skips just not going to mention how the 75 yard td was one of the most blatant OPI?
Skip is a joke. And Has been for a long time
Proud of my bengals fix the offensive line and we good
The Bengals lost the game in the 1st quarter when they went for it on 4th down at the 50 yard line, and the score was still 0-0.
While I agree that's an iffy call, they had so many chances in the 2nd half as well. Wouldn't say they lost the game in the 1st quarter
That didn't lose them the game. They played a good game. They lost because the Rams were just more talented on the defense.
L take
He had Mixon open in the flat
Nah Boyd dropping the 3rd down pass was it, especially since he ain’t drop a pass in 2 years
hey Shannon georgia born,I'm a bengals fan since andy dalton was qb, I'm very proud of them, joe gonna be alright, they need more offense, hold that line, still loving my bengals.I live in cali and I like the ram,I'm happy for them, congratulations.hoping OBJ is ok and recovers to come back he has been wonderful.
Cincy gotta adress that O line as good as Joe burrow if they dont protect him we will see another Andrew luck scenario
Man… I was just saying , they need to upgrade that O line if they are going to have any chance of major success in the future.
When shannon said AD should of been in the living room, I laughed so hard
No More Rodgers Rates
No More Patrick Price
No More "Brady Budget"
No More "Deebo Deductible"
No More "Burrow Bundle"
Only... *The Stafford Special Sale*
Credit to all the teams. They played their hearts out, but there can only be 1. I bet the Bengals can get back in some time. Just get a damn Line😂
😂😂😂
oh its still the Patrick Price tho...
does a typical sneaker head like me get the patrick price?
Staff and Krupp great Hopkins helped! D came up big in 2nd half!
Even though i was slightly in favor of the Bengals because of how unlikely they were to even get this far ultimately i am pleased for the Rams, Stafford finally got a ring, Kupp is great, AD deserves it... hard to begrudge those guys. Also the Bengals will be back... if they can get Joe better protection and maybe a few pieces on the defense no reason why they wont be back to the SB. Both teams are likable and ultimately the better team did win.
Props to uncle shay shay. Rockin OBJ jersey
This was expected. I can’t believe there were people really thinking the Bengals were going to win. Whether it was going to be close or a blowout, this was the Rams’s game to lose.
Then again the same thing was said when they met KC, so it's not completely out of reason to think they COULD have won. They got this far with a subpar O-Line...soo ain't that crazy
I didn't care who won but they only lost by 3. So it's not some farfetched thing like you make it.
They won because of the refs. That was the worst defensive holding call I have ever seen on 3rd and goal at the 8.
@@jacksonpope3955 How about the facemask the Bengals wide receiver did to Jalen Ramsey that wasn't called that they scored on? I'm not going to do the ref complaining.
@@jacksonpope3955 Bengals got away with a face mask on the very first play of the second half that gave them a 75 yard TD. Momentum changed right there. Bengals get another unforced interception because the receiver let it bounce off his hand and into the hands of someone behind him putting the Bengals in field goal range to start the drive. They could’ve ended the game there by scoring a TD. But they settled for a field like they’ve don’t throughout this entire postseason and it finally caught up to them. Bengals offense was locked down the entire second half. Didn’t earn any points.
Also, Bengals defense was gifted with being able to solely focus on Kupp for the majority of the game once OBJ got injured. Yet he still won MVP.
Cry.
It’s so sad that OBJ got hurt, he was on pace to win SBMVP when he got hurt and if he won then this show would’ve been legendary
Man unfortunately the bengals getting this far is going to do more harm than good because now they’re going to keep Zac Taylor thinking he’s good 😭. Man kept going 5 wide instead of running with joe mixon .
Then he gonna have perine in on 4th instead of mixon like where is your brain
@@BeforeChrist21 that 4th down it didn’t matter who was on the field Aaron Donald sacked him
@@BigDilf3 that’s a fact but as a coach you put in your best players on 4 down especially in da super bowl

Said the same thing, only giving Mixon 15 carries was a mistake. Smh listening to media fan boys and trying to make Burrow the hero lollll.

That defensive holding against bengals on third down completely changed the game. Should have been 4th down from the 8. Instead a fresh set of downs, totally influenced the outcome that call.
@@jaredmello just like when the bengals got. 70 yd td and shifted the game in their momentum even tho they shouldve gotten a flag. Bengals got lucky to even be that close bud
@@doggz7902 yes that was a penalty but a call with less than two minutes to go completely changed the game. You gonna let them play, let them play! Don’t start making calls there! Especially a call that will give them 4 more chances to score a TD. Unbelievable
What a front runner
Bengals had every chance to win this game. Can't blame anyone but themselves.
Bengals had one of the best goal line stands of all time taken away from them by the refs and you blame the bengals. Ya he rams were literally gifted the game when they should have been left for dead. That was not a penalty on 3rd down
@@mathewbaxter3443 But even before that play, they should've stopped Cooper. They should've never got to the redzone with just Cooper being their only receiver. And the Bengals had multiple opportunities to score more points after 20. They should've also scored at least a FG in their last drive.
@@pantsujutsu5954 they stop Cooper on that 4th down end-around and they wouldn't have had to worry about penalties. You can make the penalty argument on every single close game. Some that should be called are missed, some that are questionable are called. Ultimately it all evens out and the best team on that day wins the game. Burrow still had time to make something happen, and they had plenty of chances before that to put the game away. Bottom line is the Rams D shut them down and Stafford and Kupp came thru when they needed to.
The half time performance was the best in super bowl history!
Stafford really went from the outhouse to the penthouse and won it all.

I never thought a Ram could beat a Bengal Tiger. Those horns could break rib cages.
Shouldn’t knock the Bengals, though. They have a lot of heart and talent. I truly hope all that potential will not go to waste, and the GM, coach, etc, do things right so that this team gets a chance to flourish
They treat that little secretary girl like the Water Boy! lmfao
I'd say Kupp and Donald could be co-MVP's.....and finally, a ring for Matt Stafford, and OBJ
Shannon: Is that not a turn?!
Skip: *bites lip* I don’t know about a twist and turn
I was heated when the refs missed the helmet grab by Higgins on Ramsey. Im glad the Rams ended up winning and the way they did it couldn't have been better with all of their best players contributing 👏👏
Including the refs?
they didn’t call a face mask cuz it wasn’t one technically in rule book and jalen was holding him that same play and 6 times total whole game , rams got 2 free PI flags, which moved them half way to goal line and automatic first downs
Having the refs throw a flag on a clean play is the best way to win?????
