Just because we get older we do not want to look older. She looks ten years younger. What a beautiful cut for her❣️
Shorter hair on older women often looks better. But it depends, some women can be older and wear longer hair beautiful too. Every time I have gotten a haircut I noticed one thing: the hairstylist can make it look a lot better than the customer at home. I was never able to style my hair like the hair stylist. But I have curly hair that just loves to do what it wants anyways. One day it looks like a poof, another day just like a mass of curls in the wrong places. I try to improvise a little, but I like to stay busy too, so often I do not spend a whole lot of time on it. When I notice a nice little improvement I am happy.

I was lucky enough to find a girl at my local hairdressers who gave me a similar cut but a little longer and clinging around the neck. I feel more pixi-ish now and would never return to long hair. After 60 it never grows the way it used to anyway but all over the place 😂 Pixi up and have fun ladies❤
She had the biggest smile before he was even done cutting. That says everything! And she looks absolutely STUNNING. A beauty before, for sure, but this cut really does something extra for her. I love it.
I wish more stylists would razor cut. She looks great with this cut.
Here in France the hairdressers all razor cut and I have to tell them not to do it with my hair. I hate it!

And, the cut he gave her is going to be so easy to work with as it's growing out! Many times between haircuts, there's a weird period of time when the hair looks just awful, but in this case, you can tell she'll be able to do a lot with it until her next haircut. Excellent!

Same, been to 8 hairdressers in 2yrs, trying to get rid of a bad cut, but the keep cutting the top layer like a bowl.
I scored a "Pot of Gold" when I found the best hairdresser ever! Twenty years ago I made an appointment at a new local salon. That's where I met Chris (fresh out of school). Luckiest day of my life. Always makes me feel like a million dollars. THANK YOU CHRIS! 🙂🙂🙂

Razor cuts are most successful on wavy or curly hair.
Also: Not too many 21st century hair cutters even know how to do a razor cut. At least not in the USA.

You know your hair better than anyone, how it grows, how it lies, what looks good etc.
Videos help and your own experience.
You, the model, are always present. Keep the tools and a good mirror with you - the mirror is needed especially for the back.
Oh, and you need bags of patience!!
I started to cut my hair when I couldn't afford the prices and always have plenty of compliments.
I always cried leaving the salon. They never listen. I started cutting my own. Years later I'm still cutting it myself. Short like this video. I have hairdressers complimenting me on my good cut. You can teach yourself. Mostly it's by feel at the back.

I'm 67 and blonde, two weeks ago I had the exact same hairstyle. Over the last three years I swapped my long hair for increasingly shorter hair, until a couple of weeks ago, I said to my hairdresser, make it really short and give me a pixie cut. When I left the salon, it looked exactly like this 😊 I wasn't sure about it being so short at first but soon I loved it. The only thing is that my head gets cold now!!! It's so easy to deal with when I am washing it, and it barely needs any brushing when I get up in the morning .
I like my hair often in different lengths too, not always the same length. Depending on the seasons anyways, when I spend more time outside in the summer then short hair is surely appreciated.
I am doing the opposite. I had a short pixie that I loved, so easy but I was always cold. Now it’s bob length and thinking of a perm??? I’m 60….
I am 67 and blonde also! My hair is long, but it's getting shorter by the day. I've been cutting it a litt le bit everydau. It's so relaxing and I have been pretty happy with the results. Come spring I'll probably get a pixie cut!🤣
I've been doing the same steps you did! Now I'm thinking about the shorter pixie, as long as it mostly covers my ears. We'll see if I'm brave enough, lol!

My hair is extremely thick, curly, straight and wavy. So I usually get it permed. At least it stays the same all over. I also do not have very many white hairs. So lucky.

No one knows how to do this.Hairdressers dont have ANY ARTISTIC ABILITY TODAY .They give new .meaning to the term IT IS VERY CUT AND DRY.Nothing else.

Just try anyone who is willing to give you the haircut I’ve even had my haircut by a barber, if you’re not happy with it it will grow back. Also look for pictures of hair styles that you like so you’ll have something to show the stylist when you try to explain what you want. I’ve had my pixie cut for some time now and I sometimes change the style but I always keep short.
Barbers are often better at cutting hair than a hairdresser

Just a perfect cut!! !! You are brilliant in that you both listen to the client and to her natural curly hair in the way you both cut and style it. Natural curly hair always has a mind of its own and most stylist don't get that. They will try to cut and force it by pulling it too taught in order to make it lay the way that they want it to and be styled in the way that they imagined and it never works out perfectly because the curly hair is going to do what is going to do every time and it takes a special person to know how to cut naturally curly hair and make it behave beautifully like you have.

Anne's new hair style is gorgeous! Made such a difference in her. I've never heard of the "Christmas Tree" method of cutting hair, but it obviously is effective! My hair is extremely thick and coarse, and I cannot find anyone who can cut and style it well; hair stylists get lost in my hair while cutting it, and they cannot even make it look good. She looks wonderful the wave in her hair really helps with this hairstyle it may not work for everyone with super straight stick straight hair but it’s wonderful on her
Your are right - that was what I thought while watching this video. This lady´s hair is a good basis for nearly every hair style - naturally wavy, but not too curly hair which even does not need a hairdryer or a styling brush to look beautiful. Nevertheless, this talented hairdresser surely would also manage to make the best of every hair type🙂!
