On "My Car Story" we're in Chicago on 4-18-21.
We're looking at a 2018 Dodge Demon Challenger SRT in Black Paint with an 840 HP Supercharged V8 Engine.
The car's Owner is Tom Lembeck. Tom’s had this car since 2020. Tom’s well known for his MOPAR muscle car collection, however when Tom saw this car he thought it was what the Muscle Car era was all about.

I can tell you my 72 Hemi Orange Demon, didn't sound like this!! It was a 318! This is my Dream CAR! This is a Mopar Beauty, I miss my old Demon, it was my first CAR!! I could never afford this Demon 😈,Love it!

I keep wanting to go a ‘test drive’ a new Challenger R/T. Wouldn’t mind owning one, but that would be one too many cars for me. LOL! The new age of ready-made hot rods straight from the factory. That’s good because I get lost on all the available mods one can do to make a homemade hot rod. LOL!!! Thanks Lou & Tom for a great presentation! Good to see you driving for a change, too.

We are living in a truly amazing time for muscle cars now. Who would have thought- considering what was being produced in the late 70's and 80's👍👍that Demon is black gold!

The styling of this generation Challenger is so true to the original they haven't changed after all these years - nor should they. Perfection out of the box. This one's a bad boy in black and will always be super highly collectible. Bravo!

any car anything over 500 hp is good vehicle. i remember when horsepower went down in mid 1970s but now horsepower is making a come back. thanks lou.

My gosh what can you say but what a black super power house this thing is! My lord the way that front end lifts up when you stomp on it is just incredible. And being inside it in person had to be something. Boy that unit Tom here is really something. He has a true race car here! My my that engine sound was awesome! Having all the stickers and plastic on things was really cool to see as well I liked that. I am not much for black cars but this one is just something else! I know you enjoyed that too Lou! Anyways, seems like this SRT would even MORE at home here in Montana: massive distances, extreme High mountain Passes, Big Sky curves and Roads...., and even those 1970 Plymouth Superbirds ,maybe @ some 203 MPH(?) “ NASCAR CERTIFIED”, that you Recorded............etc!😁🤗

@@loucostabile ps: interestingly, Hagerty, DENNIS Collins, ETC**: have found some “ Amazing” machinery here in Montana, and Barn Finds. Deer Lodge Auto Museum very interesting, a few Car Nuts around the State.. However, the Driving ( even Secondary Roads, Forest Services, & mixed off Road) Variety & distances are : Our Nations Crown Jewels (not to mention Glacier & Yellowstone NATIONAL PARKS)! PS: I could get in trouble quick with hi PERF , NOT TO MENTION IF JUNK /low quality Cars!

These new Demons are just flat out wicked. I love that unique sound of their exhaust growl. I can't imagine the thrill of over 800 Horsepower on tap to use at will. This thing would get me in so much trouble. LOL. You showed great restraint while in the driver's seat. Thanks for sharing this very cool new age muscle car. Take care Lou.

That's really cool Lou , alot of power on the street !! me and my dad fitted a gen 3 ..5.7 hemi in his 61 Chrysler last year and that thing struggles to put it down it still did 6.54s 0-60mph via gps so far on the old worn out coker classics 👍🏻 , if you don't mind me asking again what would you say was the fastest classic car you have been out in on my car story like 50s 60s ?

Hi Lou! Thank you for one more masterpiece video! I prefer modern cars and really enjoyed watching this video! Great muscular muscle car! My uncle owns Dodge Challenger and it's in white. I don't know more details but I know only he bought it in 2020. I like Dodge Challenger because it's a spacious car if compare with other sports cars. And of course, if you need to pass, just make that furious noise, and all road is yours! LOL!

Wicked horsepower, would be a great commuter car, your gonna win every stoplight GP, radar dedector a must, plus it would be a fun drive every day! Wide wide tires look wild, saw a German m5 with similar HP and super wide tires doing 300 kph on the autobahn……hehehe!

My brother would have a jet-black 2011 Challenger turned into a Dodge Demon.
It would have S I C K blood red rims, bright red decals and emblems plus a glow-in-the-dark Dodge logo emblem.
