Hi! I don’t know if this is how you prefer to receive recommendations, but if you want to talk more about religious trauma, “We Know the Devil” is a visual novel I highly recommend. It is available on Steam and is roughly 3-4 hours of playtime with a few different endings (and there’s a fast-forward button for when you try different endings). CWs: Internalized homophobia and transphobia, alcohol use, religious trauma/guilt, self-harm and depression (while it is present, it is not as intense as Omori’s portrayal), and content that may affect individuals with emetophobia Reading the game’s description may also help adjust your expectations for the content within. In the past, the game’s creator has given explicit permission for individuals to record let’s plays of this piece I think you would have a lot to say and have a fun time analyzing what all is going on as the story unfolds itself, but it’s okay if this is something you are not interested in - I look forward to seeing more from you regardless!
I've always called my dad by his name, except when I'm talking about him with my little sister, since I want her to call him dad as she should. But any other time, I always refer to him by name, or maybe "my old man" if I'm talking about him. I'm not sure why I do this, but oh well
