Why did Jesus tell Jairus "Only Believe"? Because the influencers of the day warned against the Messiah's teaching. What prevented the crowd from hearing or seeing God ? Was it the popular narrative that Jesus was a heretic that caused such unbelief? How did they not see what His disciples knew? That God sent Jesus, that Jesus only said what the Father gave Him to say, and that the miracles He performed were only possible because Jesus was God, Immanuel, God with us. He cast out a legion of demons, He raised the dead, He made the blind see, He made the mute speak, He caused the cripple to walk. He spoke with great authority, His Word, His Way were unlike any other. Were His followers were compelled by the Holy Spirit to submit and obey? Do you believe that He who dwells within you is greater than any evil in the world? ❤
Amen! May God lead us on the right path.
