@@SRTMarcco good choice!!
That is cool!!
whats the link to the whole kit?
@@superplushbrossubandlike8198 got everything off eBay
@ what do i search up or links
@@superplushbrossubandlike8198 springs are H&R 50888, for the front struts just search “06 Charger bilstein”
Do you know if that would be the same install for 2008 SRT8? I just bought the Eiback drag launch springs to lower the car.
@@KevinMartinez-v4l yup! Basically the same for all Chargers, Challengers, 300, and Magnum.
@@anthonysgarage1 thanks brother!
You mentioned that you were going to tighten up the front control arm bolts under load on reassembly. What type of load are you putting the suspension under? Are you using the jack to put it under load, or did you tighten them up when you lowered it down on the wood blocks?
@@seansdriveway I’ve done it a few ways…one way is compress the suspension with the jack but you can only do one side at a time. Probably the best way is to put the wheels back on and lower the car down on ramps so you can crawl underneath and torque the bolts. Basically you want the suspension at ride height. Any suspension bolt that passes through a rubber bushing should be done this way.
@@anthonysgarage1 sweet! Thank you for tip. I'll do it that way when it comes to doing it on my charger. What type of rachet were you using to tighten down the top strut bolt? That thing is definitely what I need
@@seansdriveway the ratchet set is from harbor freight, the sockets are hollow and the ratchet grips the sockets from the outside instead of the middle
Should it be the same on the dodge avenger?
@@CharniChristensen ehhh I don’t know, have never worked on an Avenger
Could you tell much of a ride difference going from ebay to a better spring. I have about the same setup and want to upgrade. The Amazon springs lowered the srt8 3 inches and I’d like to lift it an inch. But only if I have better control and ride quality.
@@timmorton6049 The H&R springs ride great! Zero complaints! Maybe a tad stiffer than oem SRT8 springs
@@anthonysgarage1 thank you for the information and content, I enjoy your channel!
What size are those rims brother?
@@macflow9661 those are the stock 20” wheels
