I love how some youtubers endlessly talk about how AIR RB is broken with 16 players there are just too many missiles. Bad Karma simply proves it is a skill issue. It's like you have byakugan and have 360 degree vision. That clip where you see the last two guys and instantly climb above them knowing they won't notice you is amazing. You never run chaff but always seem to know when it is safe to gain altitude without getting radar missile.
I think it's a matter of personal preference. I play whatever I feel like. I love War Thunder and enjoy flying. I never had the means to become a pilot in real life, so I am one in the game xD

To be really good/efficient in top tier, your brain has to work like a radar in TWS : being able to analyze continously multiple planes and parameters. Some will say that in prop fights there are also multiple planes to watch in the same time. Yes but no, because everything is way slower. And also, you mainly fly very close to the ground.
This is why i say the 27 is best top tier despite me hating the FM - it's good enough and its weapons - unmatchable. A gripen will win the dogfight with a su27 candidly but lose to the 6 R73's coming their way.

Any player can get 7 kills in a match in a Gripen or a Flanker, of course... but doing that every game requires more than luck; it's a matter of skill, not chance. Currently, there are no more than 200 players who can average 2 kills per match at the top tier between one respawn and another (in addition to a low number of deaths)
Perhaps I’m just not knowledgeable enough on how the missiles work in this game. Maybe it’s just because they’re older missiles. But some of those missiles you dodged really should have hit you. You’re clearly a stellar pilot, but I think luck had a big part in your success as well. If I’m wrong, please correct me.

I noticed the F-16 was in your RWR blind spot, but you still got RWR pings which makes me think someone else launched at you and maybe missile from the F-16 was a 9m…when you turned into him. You did drop chaff/flares but I find it hard to believe you can turn into a missile while chaffing and it misses. You got hella skills, pilot

the mig 29 was my first talisman in the USSR and I dont regret it to this day, its still an incredible plane especially when you get 11.0 matches, its a good bet for the future because at some point it will have R73s

how do you suggest grinding russian tree? i want to get to su27. i'm around the yak-9 right now, using the mig-23ml. i don't seem to have too much luck with it though. i have games where i get 2-3 kills and barely get rp it seems
@@scharrk it just seems spotty to me. it's definitely not bad, but the IR missiles are borderline useless, and the R24Rs are good, but the rewards are all over the place like i said. i had a game where i got 1 kill and got 11.2k rp. i later got 3 kills and got an even 11k rp, like how does that even make sense lol
@@_TAKtician You get most RP when you are a live for a long time, while doing something at the same time if course. Air RB is just bad designed overall. And the R60 are pretty fun to use in head ons. Wait until they fire their gun and the forget to flare a lot of times.
@@scharrk i've gotten a few head on kills with the R60s now and they're pretty neat. i just wish the R24s weren't so flare hungry. even when i fire one from complete surprise, they end up getting flared by the enemy shooting a missile at someone else lol. but 99% of the time the people i shoot at have the situational awareness of god himself, and flare instantly even if i'm firing from like 1-2km above them

It's because the biggest reward multiplier in the game today is time, if the matches last less you earn much less, and gaijin knows this, If this same match lasted 25 minutes it would definitely earn me 35k+
