      Hi Tyranno, Vin here. Firstly - here,here. We don’t all have the same level of time to crafting and honing our skills but we mean well, even if we hit you. 🥴

      @@TyrannoCyrusRex Nords is so difficult and bites hard when you get it wrong, so revisiting and practicing sectors is really important for improving. The guide is awesome man, not many others give advice on turn in points either so it’s a point of difference in your guides in general. Thanks again 👊

    can you make a video about your braking technique? i noticed you turn in slightly before applying brakes(and subsequently trailbraking, like @2:35) which sort of clarifies trailbraking but do you turn in first then brake? or do you turn and brake at the same time? a video on it would be nice im trying to get out of the habit of braking in a straight line

    • @TyrannoCyrusRex
      @TyrannoCyrusRex  2 месяца назад

      A video on this would be a great call, but I actually don't feel really educated enough to make my own video on the specifics of trailbraking. I can tell you that every corner is different, but most corners are a brake before turning situation. Sometimes I'm turning a but initially on accident, which I think is what happened the time you marked.
      One thing I read recently is that "trail braking" is of course trailing off the brakes, but the deceleration as a whole going into the corner also includes losing speed simply by turning and adding steering, so if you turn before braking or brake first, it's all deceleration at different levels. Even ADDING throttle in order to control the rate of deceleration is still part of the deceleration into a corner and should be considered.
      TL;DR it's contextual but it's also all just deceleration into corners.

    can you explain more why FR is better in the dry and MR in the wet? or maybe general differences in handling between the two? its hard for me to tell what handling aspects are due to being a different car vs different drivetrain

    • @TyrannoCyrusRex
      @TyrannoCyrusRex  2 месяца назад +1

      So in general in GT since GT sport, the MRs are just faster in the wet - but exactly why I'm not 100% sure of. My main thinking is since GT is abnormally understeery in general, and the MRs are tuned to be pretty unstable and oversteery in comparison, they are able to turn in a lot more efficiently than the FR cars, and on corner exit the extra weight over the rear tires allows them to accelerate earlier and with much less slip - which are both bonuses for performance in general. The understeery nature of GT overall is exacerbated by the understeery BOP setups on most FRs and they are in turn less stable on throttle making it a double negative.
