      @@McGieHomesteadAdventures brother I know you were cooking skunk and it looked delicious, but it just reminded me of when Frank said about a turtle you and Frank said about mud turtles or whatever they are and it reminded me of my aunt and uncle were gone now And I remember how delicious it was. Sorry if I took you off track I didn’t mean to, but I knew you were talking about skunk and it was a good lesson too and like I said it looked delicious.

    That Spyderco Bow River is a good knife. I wish I had known about that baking soda, peroxide, and Dawn mix years ago. I'll be 57 on July 4th, and I learn more now than I did as a kid. Lol. 👍👍👍👍👍

    Caught a a big skunk in a conibear this season perfect suitcase catch but boy did it spray and that spot smelled for over a month

      Agree 100% nothing comes close. I have a little get away on what’s called the buffalo river and I think it was picked out of heaven to be put on earth!

      Generally speaking trappers sell the scent oil for pretty good money! It’s used for a variety of things like perfume 😂😂😂

    Micah did you know that meps lure company will buy squirrel tails for their inline spinners. I think it's like .10 cents a tail or lure

      @@McGieHomesteadAdventures save some squirrel tails look on the back of the package of the lure to get the address they don't have to be taned just dryed out. They used the hair on the hooks of their lures. Good way to get some lures for fishing.

    Very interesting. Hadn't thought about a skunk. They are all over the place around here. What's your thoughts on groundhogs? I usually have a few I take out at springtime when things are starting to grow in garden. Just wondering if you knew how they taste. Enjoyed video take care

    I had a sixth grade teacher that was fed skunk in a stew at his friends house. He said it was the best tasting stew he had ever had until they told him that it was. He then immediately ran outside and heaved his guts out. But he said it was still the best tasting stew he ever had. He got to taste it twice. LOL

    Good morning folks! I've extracted a lot of juice outa them Skunks to use in lure making but I ain't ever eaten one. Looks very similar to Possum with the fat, etc.

    And I always thought when a skunk had expired that it meant they were not good to eat. They are the one food I never considered eating after the experation date.
