I know it was an improvisation, but Spider-Man is actually really strong. He can lift nearly 10 tons, so ripping his web like that would be fairly easy😂
at normal times yes he can lift upto 12 tons but it is said in the comics or somewhere that in some situations he can life more than 100 tons
Idk if it's the exact words but when they were arguing about sending the villains back then Peter said "Have some heart" i got goosebumps lol, Strange was as cold as May's d3d body in that scene

Well, you can actually see when Peter reaches the bridge in his iron spider suit and we see his HUD display, it says the EDITH system is offline, and also other suit functions seems to be offline as well, probably because since Stark Industries is under investigation too, so i guess the edith servers and everything is down as well
Also, He had to get his own suit at the end of the movie because the nanotech probably doesn't recognise Peter's biometrics anymore since there's no more any record of him 🥲🥲

As far as their memories I just settled on the idea that it literally stopped people from being able to know or learn from things before the spell was cast Peter's identity. So the stuff is still there, but when people see it, it just doesn't register in their mind.
all versions of Peter literally had their own " absolute point " in time to lose someone or somebody close to them or someone they love... as how The Ancient One tells Strange in What If... things that are unchangeable or was destined to happen... which are all destined to happen fulfill each Spiderman's own destiny💁🏻♀️🥰
7:27 sidelining Edith is not just about them wanting it not included. In the movie because Stark Industries is being investigated by DODC, all Stark tech is now offline, including Edith. So while it might have left a bad taste in his mouth, Peter also cannot use Stark Tech now. His Iron Spider suit also had very limited functionalities in the movie because of this.

His web can last how ever long he sets in on his Web-shooters. This is how he can use it to suspend cars, use it to hold people safe above lights for hours. And how he held Doctor Strange in the mirror dimension for 12+ hours.

Regarding the Spell. I think they will explain more in the future. But Strange Says it will brainwash everyone. I do not believe that means it removes all physical possession that connect peter to his secret Identity. So what I believe is if you look at it, the spell is active and you'll see something else. Brainwash.

Tobey Maguire Spider-Man is amazing, grew up with him and I really like his organic web shooters. It does raise a few questions but I think it's so cool. I mean Spider-Man is mutant per se.
You should watch Film Theory Spiderman no way home where they explained how the spell worked in the end. It's video titled 'Peter saved no one.' You guys should watch it. It's really awesome and takes care of a lot of inconsistencies.

Any information out there is at the end of the day stored physically which means that the spell not only wiped Everyones memory but also made them delete all the information about peater Parker being spiderman from their respective sources which should solve the problem I still don't get why everyone is still so confused about it the only part that should confuse anyone is the the scale of the spell i.e what range did the spell applied itself (only the earth, the universe or the whole Multiverse) I think most likely the Multiverse. There problem solved.
I think it would work like it did after One More Day and after Daredevil did it too in the comics (he got Killgrave's son to make everyone forget that Matt Murdock is Daredevil) and the way it works in both cases (as both have psysically info like pictures and such) the spell would create a mental block which would make everyone that tries to reach out the proof about these characters identity just not see their faces or names, like it blurs them out, so the proof still exists but nobody can actually see the important parts.

I don't think he needs Edith glasses, since he can access Edith when he's wearing the Iron Spider suit, as long as she's online. And only he can access it anyway, if he doesn't give the controls to someone else they're just regular glasses. (When flash took the glasses in far from home, he didn't see anything out of the ordinary, for example, despite Peter was using Edith only moments ago)
And about the spell that makes people forget things, I always thought it was obvious that it also erased the photos, videos etc. Because otherwise it doesn't have much use anyway. (Minor *SPOILER* for the sixth or seventh Harry Potter movie, if you care about that don't read the rest) When Hermione used a spell to erase her parents' memories about her (I believe the spell was "obliviate"), we also saw Hermione disappearing from their family pictures. The photos that just had her turned into empty frames. Strange's spell reminded me of that moment and I thought it would work the same way. It's literally magic after all
And btw, if anything, deleting the footage from everyone's computers and phones, and getting rid of the physical photos must be easier for the spell. That's something we can do, you can physically get rid of all the Peter's photos in that school, and Edith can delete all the footage from the computers. If you think about it, the hard part here is making millions of people forget something, and I think it's kinda funny how people are focusing on the other part like it seems impossible to them lol

edith glasses cant be used by anyone other then peter, so theres probably a fail safe system for if anyone else tries using it / steals them that the iron spider outfit is alerted. or perhaps peter broke them and is just keeping them as a momento of iron man.

I’d like to think that the reason Canadian Lad gave for why Peter didn’t use Edith kinda matches Peter Parker. It’s usually the case in the comics where Peter is on his own without help and in Tom’s previous movies he’s had help but maybe their trying to put him back to a street level hero.

The vast majority of the movie was shot using bluescreen because of COVID. But Jon Watts is really good at implementing the digital background and cg in general. It's only some of the exterior shots that looked kinda fake. But yeah jaby is also right, it may have also been done to maintain the secrecy of the plot.

that memory wiping spell is insane. in theory could docter strange have not used that spell to erase everyones memory of thanos' mother, and in doing so his father would not know her and her child would cease to exist. my reasoning is that if "Flash point" the book that was only made because of peter/spider man being known by flash would in a way make them the books parents, but by removing his second identity the book was deleted so wouldn't thanos be deleted if their parents never knew each other as a way to correct an inconsistency

In the final scene of the Movie dr. Strange casts a different spell. Because of that spell no onein the whole world knows that Peter parker exists. So if peter doesn't exist then everything He's ever been associated with or every person who knew about him or wrote about him recorded him is gone because if they don't know the guy why would they write or shoot or talk about him.

I just don't get it why was it necessary to bring all the villains together and cage them ... as we get to see in the movie later that there were also other (probably 2) people who knew that Peter Parker was spiderman and they didn't need to be present in the basement at the time of spell reversal ...So the moment Dr. Strange got to know about Lizard, why didn't he reverse the spell right then and save everyone's time, efforts, and most importantly "Lives"
