What I love the most about this film was how it resolved the other two Spider-Men's fears and trauma. Andrew redeemed himself by saving MJ from falling to her death, just as he couldn't save Gwen to the point where he struggled to move on, making him lose sight and control of what Spider-Man is supposed to symbolize. He also seemed looser and more engaged her than he did in either of his solo outings and brings a strong amount of remorse to the proceedings as the most haunted Peter. Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man was redeemed when he stopped Tom Holland's Peter from killing Green Goblin because he couldn't let the father of his best friend be killed again, which he regretted in the Sam Raimi trilogy.

What's interesting is that Spider-verse 1-2 resolved the OTHER dangling thread from Tobey Spider-Man, namely that Peter and MJ's relationship is in shambles after SM3. Tobey still "Trying to do better" parallels B. Parker trying to fix his own life and relationship and succeeding by SV2.

After all, Happy's affluent, has access to some bad-ass tech, and could have been a real ally, going forward.

Garfield's Spidey saving MJ is hands down the best moment in this entire movie. You just know he's replayed Gwen's death in his head a thousand thousand times over, thinking about what he could have done to save her. And now here when he saw MJ fall, I doubt he stopped to think for even a fraction of a second--he was just there again, in that clock tower, and he moved. This time he did everything right.

The reason why the characters of Flint/Sandman and Dr. Connors/The Lizard look the same from their respective movies is because that footage is from Spiderman 3 and the first Amazing Spiderman. Due to COVID travel restrictions the actors couldn't physically perform their roles, but provided the voices. This is why the Lizard and Sandman are in their villain form for 99% of the scenes they're in! Just a fun fact :)

This is why Loki was so important. The fact that the show unlocked the multiverse allowed this movie to take place. The interesting thing about this is that thanks to this film (and the acquisition of Fox by Disney) we can no officially say that all the Spider-Man films, all the X-Men films, all the Marvel properties created by other studios are no officially part of the MCU - they're just different universes. This will come to play strongly in the new Deadpool film, especially considering he can break the 4th wall.
This movie will have a strong influence on future multi-universe situations. That includes the second Dr. Strange movie as well as the Sony Spider-Verse films.
A lot of early criticism of Marvel's Spider-Man was the fact that although Tom Holland was the right age for the character he was not struggling as much as the original comic book portrayal of Peter Parker. He was getting too much help from Iron Man and the other Avengers. A lot of people also criticized the fact that he did not have an Uncle Ben moment, at least as far as we knew. That was the plan all along. The Holland "Home" movies were meant to be a more character-driven origin story for this version of Spider-Man. We see him acknowledge himself as a hero in Homecoming, maturing into the role in Far from Home and finally getting his "Great Power" canon event with Aunt May in No Way Home. All of this was his origin story. Now that nobody knows he's Spider-Man and has no one else to turn to he will now face the struggles we've all known Peter to go through. He has to fend for himself and be the hero he was destined to be.
Fun fact about the new costume. It harkens back to the original version of the Spidey costume from the comics, but if you pause the film and look closely you'll notice that Peter designed it based on the costumes of the other Peters, an homage to his "brothers" so to speak.

Spider-Man: No Way Home was AWESOME!!! Nearly 20 years of Spider-Man in film and this was a perfect way to celebrate it. It's an exhilarating, funny, and surprisingly emotional ride that becomes arguably the character's best screen outing since Spider-Man 2. What's most impressive is that despite having to juggle so many characters (albeit Ines that we're already well-acquainted with) and introducing the concept of multiverses, it doesn't feel all convoluted. My audiences erupted with cheers and applauds when Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire showed up.
This is as much the conclusion to a coming-of-age story as it is a love letter to the cinematic legacy the character has accumulated over the past 19 years, and proves comic book movies can be more than just spectacle and represents everything we go to the movie theaters for.

I love the fact that they united three different Spider-Man actors from different universes, along with their respective villains. My two favorites being Alfred Molina as Otto Octavius/Doctor Octopus and Willem Dafoe as Norman Osborn/Green Goblin. Willem Dafoe has a way of scaring the crap out of you with the way he can flip the personalities of the character so masterfully. One minute, he's talking kindly as Norman, then the Goblin switch goes off and he's terrifying.

Loki's season 1 finale take place at the end of time and simultaneously at the beginning of time when the multiverse was recreated after he who remains died. The multiverse existed before he who remains took over but after Kang was in charge he manipulated the multiverse into a sacred timeline so there was no multiverse which could create alternate versions of him that wouldn't have became a he who remained variant pacifically. So after he who remains died the multiverse was recreated creating new timelines and and universes with with alternate versions of characters not just looking like their counterparts or story having similar outcomes or events while also going in a completely different direction.

40:07 Nah u can't really blame Peter for that.. Strange should have actually mentioned to Peter (bcos strange is the adult there) and he should have clearly stated what's about to happen, just like he did in the end there. He should have asked Peter whom he wants excluded from the spell and what not. He should have been more responsible. 😢😢

How can someone even stay away from the spoilers of one of the biggest movie while surfing internet, its impossible

    • @SilverWolf442
      @SilverWolf442 5 месяцев назад +2

      It's possible.
I just watched for the first time 3 months ago.
I avoided spoilers because I never looked up anything related to NWH and didn't watch the trailers.
As a casual fan, I wasn't gung-ho about looking up ZNWH stuff when the buzz was going on.
I watched it 3 months ago for something to do while at home.
      Loved it.

They have been probably living under the cave. When this movie came out in 2021, it was all over social media. It was the BIG thing. The memes, behind the scenes photos. Hell even non fans got familiar with No way home. Old ones probably got news that Toby Maguire and Andrew Garfield are appearing in this movie. It was every in the internet literally. So it's hard to believe these guys didn't know about it. I bet they already watched it or knowing the outcome and probably just doing fake reactions for views.

Fun fact - sorry if somebody else already said it but - reason Sandman looks the same when he gets cured is that he only did voice acting for this movie, I think due to a scheduling conflict or something - so the only live action footage of him is actually footage from Spider-Man 3 that they reused. When he's looking at his hand, that's the footage from the Tobey Maguire Spider-Man 3 of when he's watching his hand fall apart, they just basically used it in reverse. But it is his voice.

same thing for the lizard his actor also couldn't be on set and only did voice acting and just like with sandman they used footage of him from the amazing spider-man when being cured.

its so sick when daredevil catches the brick, because if you slow it down, you can see that Daredevil is reacting, but if you look a peter, its his spidey sense thats reacting, you can see that his hand gets there and then his head turns after

33:46 For those who might not know. All of Peter’s Stark Tech is useless. If he attempts to use ANY of it will most likely lock him out as an “unknown user” and probably send out a homing beacon to Stark Industries. So he probably recycled most of it into parts until he can make all the gadgets himself. Including the suit. He is probably back to the most bare-bones basic gear. Goggles and Web shooters.

I cried so much in this movie. Not even at the sad parts. But at the nostalgic beautiful moments. This movie was truly special to me because I grew up with Tobey and Andrew's Spider-Man. I remember being excited in 2nd grade because my parents picked me up early one day from school to go watch Captain America: Civil War, and when I saw a new Spider-Man, I was so hyped. Seeing his relationship with Tony and him being involved in the MCU was everything to me. But then, in nwh, having the 🐐s come back, was a dream come true. Brought me back to that 6 year old who would wear a spiderman costume while watching Sam Raimi Spider-Man and the tasm movies. To that 8 or 9 year old who got picked up from school to go to the movie theaters.❤
