I found one once in my garage door handle, I’m just like “Come on, dude, my hand goes there!” -_- I also hear the baby spiders inject more venom. So basically in the comics Peter’s first girlfriend was Betty Brant JJJ’s assistant in the Raimi Trilogy and after that it was Gwen Stacy. MJ wasn’t Pete’s main girlfriend until much later on, but they were acquaintances/friends while Gwen and Pete were together.
This movie along with the Raimi Trilogy were the ultimate movies for me whenever I was in the mood for Spiderman, had them on DVD and would always take them off the shelves to watch them
This is one of my top favorite spider man flicks. The casting was done perfectly, the portrayal for Spidey was comic-book accurate, and most of the scenes were unpredictable.
Yes sir Andrew Garfield my fav spider man and every spider man who is Peter Parker has the same story but this is just like whole different world or universe from Tobey and Tom’s spider man
btw ik you've already watched the second one and their is an amazing (pun intended) deleted scene from the second amazing spiderman that was gonna set up a third one where his dad shows up and reveals he didnt die and peter is yelling at him at the graveyard and its great acting and rly worth watching in ur own time on yt its rly moving
Gwen is peter’s first ever love interest & most fan’s favorite with black cat being 2nd. Mary Jane is just his most famous since in every iteration, he ends up with her or supposed to
They reboot it because they were going to make a new universe with this Spider-Man. They had a whole plan but Sony canned it. Also, Gwen was peters love interest before mj, as well as the web shooters. In the comics, Spider-Man originally made his web shooters. The organic thing in the raimi movies was not the standard Spider-Man story.
The reason why the original trilogy and TASM1 were memorable, was because of the producer LAURA ZISKIN It was because of her and her husband (the screenwriter Alvin Sargent) that the movies had depth AVI ARAD on the other hand, just wanted to use the movies to sell toys Unfortunately, she died in 2011, during the production of this movie Without her, there was no one to stop Arad from destroying the franchise Spider-Man was nothing without her
Ziskin was a great producer. But with all due respect o her, the first trilogy was because of Sam Raimi and his direction coupled with the cast and of course Ziskin as producer. Arad was a menace to shove Spiderman 3 with wall to wall storylines overlapping etc. this amazing Spiderman tried but the first trilogy was such a splash and such a wonder when not much was going on that its hard to beat it right after. Now that we have almost a new generation of Spiderman film fans I think this is why Tom Holland's version works. If it was so soon after Amazing Spiderman I don't think that tom Holland would have had as much of an impact.
The producers are above the directors and writers If the first Spider-Man was great, it was because Laura Ziskin allowed it be great And TASM1 could've been better if Arad hadn't shove The Lizard into the story If Ziskin was still alive, TASM2 could've been a lot different. Alvin Sargent would've been the writer instead of the guys that did Transformers It was never about the director, the cast, or giving everyone freedom. It was about having the right people behind everything, like Laura Ziskin, Kevin Feige, and Phil Lord and Chris Miller
Not sure if someone mentioned it but yes the lizard is CGI in the movie, they did have someone in a motion capture suit but no makeup was used when he was fully the lizard
Only in the Sam Raimi Spider-Man movies did Peter shoot web directly from his arms. In the comics and all the other films he always made his webbing himself. I didn't like that change in the Raimi films it took away from showing the genius of Peter Parker creating his own web fluid and web shooters
I agree with you completely. I did hear later on however that there was a comics run where Pete could make his own webs like Tobey did. After hearing that I stopped hating on the Raimi spider-man so much. I also didn’t like how they downplayed his intelligence in that trilogy. He’s supposed to have a genius level intellect.
I mean tbh makes sense for spider man to have organic webs. Im sure not everyone can be smart enough to make their own web shooters in other dimensions.
@@lolokay9156it doesn't make sense tho for a web that came out from his wrist ,also why he supposed to do "🤟" when he doesn't even have web shooter in the first place
I always liked that in the Toby and Peter movies, the city itself became a character helping the spider at the right time. Like that scene on the train when the people of New York stood up for the spider, and here the people of the city helped with the cranes. I hope Tom will have such a moment in a future movie. While it does not feel like a friendly neighbor spider-man, although in the first and part were hints.
Uncle Ben was trying to teach Peter to have integrity as a man, even if a bully is messing with you to still try to be a good responsible person. Which is really hard.
There is only one spider man who can shoot webs out of his wrist naturally and that's only toby Maguire the original spiderman comic had him shooting it out of web shooters
time code: 37:38 "Why did they reboot it?" answer: Sony was greedy & didn't want to continue to pay increasing salaries for 2 actors, who had received Academy Awards [Oscars], Toby McGuire & Kirsten Dunst, from different movies
In the toby movies the webs came out of his wrist but from what you seen here is what happens in the comics and other spiderman media's is he makes his web shooters and web cartridges.
38:40 The purpose of this film is not to make even better movie than the Raimi films, the purpose was to make a Spider-Man movie because Spider-Man 3 failed
The reason for the reboot was because of how Marvel licensed the movie distribution rights to the various studios. They have to release a movie about a character every so often or the license expires, and Marvel can contract with someone else. After a while, the actors get too old to continue, and the audiences forgot the property, so it becomes necessary to refresh the story with a new cast and plot. It's the same reason for all the X-Men movies, including the soft reboot with First Class, even though it ties in to the previous movies via Days of Future Past. Marvel fixed that problem by having Disney buy them then Fox. Sony won't relinquish the rights, instead partnering with Disney/Marvel to allow the use of Spider-Man in the MCU. That's the same reason there hasn't been another Hulk solo movie; Universal still owns those rights, and leases the likeness back to the MCU. The Incredible Hulk movie was from the period before Marvel Studios existed as its own company and the Disney acquisition; notice that Iron Man, Thor, Captain America: The First Avenger and The Avengers were Paramount releases.
The "comedy element" is an essential part of Spider-man in the early comics and that's something the Tom Hollands Spidey keeps: yes he is ironical and chatty. This is one of the reasons I love more this version than the Maguire's one, just because it was more accurate to the comics. And Andrew is younger than Tobbey and! looks even younger that his real age at the moment. Talking about acting I have to split my heart between Andrew Gardfield ('Hacksaw Ridge', 'Tick Tick... Boom!') and Tom Holland ('The Impossible', 'The Devil All The Time', 'Cherry'), they giants. And that's why my ranking for the best Spidey is: 1 Tom 2 Andrew 3 Tobbey
I agree with most of your points. Tom is #1 for sure. He has that youthful look that makes him seem like a high school kid. Also the CGI and tech to support the series matured over the years to help him out, but that just enhance the presentation. His acting steals the show every second. Tobey and Andrew... each were good in their own way. Tobey was the OG Spider-Man for the modern era so he really gets props for that. But I never for a second bought the idea that he was a high school student. He and everyone in his class were clearly 25-30. Plus he had to deal with the special effects of the turn of the century, which weren't terrible, but dated by today's standards. Sam Raimi is awesome and was allowed to take liberties with SM and it really did streamline the origin story. Andrew has heart and I honestly felt deeper about his acting. (You point out Hacksaw Ridge, amazing performance!) But he was hampered by crappy writing in places. Since we are only on ASM1 I won't talk about my thoughts on ASM2. But I'll be here to see it and hope to run into you again friend.
@@testfire3000 I agree with most of your points. 🙃(sorry for the joke). I don't get some of the acronyms because I'm not English native speaker, but it's ok. I think I'm going to disagree about Raimi. For me he's a legend, but he's only good with his low-budget stuff: Evil Dead, Army Of Darkness, Darkman... And he makes terribly uneven movies, half of them are directly pure shit. I'll never forgive him for what he did with two of my favourite characters in his stupid movie/story/script/misuse of characters in The Multiverse Of Darkness. I mean, for example, he had the opportunity to introduce the Illuminati and I felt embarrassed, second by second, that whole part... oh man, it was sooooo stupid. Or when they took America Chavez to the famous Kamar-Taj kindergarten. I'm not going to say more because I'm still upset. And man, Tom Holland is still in his twenties! He's going to be a mega-big movie actor.
@@oskarobit *High Five!* You are my favorite person to talk to all day. I agree that Sam Raimi lost it when he did Multiverse of Madness. I didn't like that movie at all. Acronyms: CGI = Computer Generated Imagery. Basically all the special effects done after filming. Green screen stuff. OG Spider-Man. OG as used here just means the first or the original ASM1, ASM2 Those are the name of the Andrew Garfield movies. Amazing Spider-Man 1 and Amazing Spider-Man 2. I just figured it would be easier to abbreviate. I see they just posted up Amazing Spider-Man 2, so I am off to see that. Have a great day!
I love how his web shooters are explained in this movie. Gwen Stacy is the best girlfriend in these movies Emma Stone did her thing, Andrew as Peter / Spiderman as well.
This wasn't necessarily a multiverse situation, it was a straight Spider-Man reboot done by Sony. And since it wasn't as successful as they were hoping, they scrapped the 3rd film and reboot AGAIN. But this time Marvel Studios came in, took creative lead, and reboot Spider-Man within their already established MCU. And this lead to a multi billion dollar trilogy.
Peter is a genius. Like Tony Stark. He developed web fluid himself as a teenage boy since he was 15 when he got his powers. All of him can stick to surfaces ‐‐fingers, toes, but, wrists etc etc. There's a saying in the comics --Gwen Stacy loved Peter. Mary Jane loved Spider-Man
Andrew isn’t my favorite spider-man, more so from a movie stand point. But I can recognize that he is such a good spider-man and should have been given the opportunity to be the character far more than the time he was given. He adds such a charm to Peter Parker
This is by far the most comic accurate Spiderman movie we've ever gotten, which is why to most comic book readers, this is their favourite Spiderman film. In the comics, Peter was never nerdy or a loser. He was more of an outcast, but by choice. People wanted to be friends with him and thought he was cool but he didn't want to be friends with anyone. When he first gains his powers, he uses them for selfish reasons, until something happens that makes him realize there's more to being Spiderman. Spiderman is also supposed to be funny and make a bunch of quips, which is something the Tobey Maguire films lacked. They took the character too serious which is not what Spiderman is. Those are just some of the reasons why Andrew Garfield is the best Peter Parker/Spiderman.
To the venemous spiders: most of them are in deed not dangerous for humans at all, but some of them gave them a bad reputation, the bana spider for example can kill humans
@@testfire3000 yep, they are sometimes transported with the bananas to mostly Europe or the Us, it's rare that it happens but it is pretty much the only spider you have to worry about (if you don't life in Florida ;))
@@ohyeah8330 I live in the US Pacific Northwest (Oregon) and we have the Brown Recluse and the Black Widow. Both can be fatal but it is pretty uncommon.
@@testfire3000 uh but they look nasty, I'm from Germany, there's nearly no real threat, some of the southern spiders start to migrate but the most dangerous thing are still the ticks ;). I have to add to the banana spider that even this one is rarely deadly but it can happen
Spiders: it depends on the species of spider, how many bites, the maturity of the spider, and the health condition of the bitee. There are people who die in North America from spider bites, though that’s rare and involving small children or the elderly. Australia has very deadly spiders.
I had a friend who nearly died from a spider bite, but it had nothing to do with the venom. The bite was unpleasant but it became infected and he got blood poisoning. You remember hearing stories of a red line moving up a person's arm and killing them? That is what happened (short of they dying part). It was really freaky seeing the red line move further and further up his arm. We finally convinced him to get medical treatment and it hit him as he was in the doctor's office.
They may not kill people that often but there are some that you gotta watch for, my friends dad got bit by a brown recluse and ended up having to have his leg amputated at the knee.
The women are always saving the men in those movies. Maybe they should start calling it X-Women. Edit: 😭Don't roast me. I'm quoting probably the cringiest line in the entire series.
couldn’t have said it better as long as it’s in release order and they don’t skip any movies. We’re all good I’m not trying to say they’re all perfect but at the end of the day they’re all important for the overall story of the X-Men series. Also, why it’s important to watch the amazing Spider-Man Tobey, Maguire, Spider-Man, and Edward Norton’s the hulk movie because it’s important for the overall story.
Actually in comics spiderman makes his own web shooter. It's only tobey that has natural webs but it isn't comic accurate and raimi did it just for fun. Soo Andrew's spiderman portrays comic well.
@Tyrone I personally liked the ASM movies and would *still* like to see ASM3. An older, wiser Spider-Man played by Andrew Garfield in his own movie set a decade after the events of ASM2. I'll buy us both a ticket, lol.
@@Meepie_Playz they were both garbage! The only thing the first one had going for it was that it was better than the second one, but all in all they were both crap
In the different comics peter has multiple different love interest but the most common ones are MARY JANEWATSON AND GWEN STACY. I REMEMBER KID ME WANTED TO HAVE HIS LFE TO BE A LADIES MAN AND ME NOW NOT ANY MORE.
Funny thing? The harmless 'Daddy Long Legs" spider is pound for pound one of the most venomous spiders there are. They just cannot pierce human skin and so are harmless to us. For now...
Remember, not to spoil anything for future marvel movies This ain’t technically the same Spider-Man story as Tobey Maguire’s the best way I can put it is imagine comics that came out in different generations like the 60s 70s and 80s with different art styles. Making the marvel characters we know today look different throughout the generations, so this is just a modern day interpretation of another version of Spider-Mans comic book story.
You are absolutely right about the lethal spiders being a tiny percentage, most of them live in Australia (go figure) and the on that springs to mind for me is the funnel-web spider. And yes, black widows are dangerous as well.
Fun fact flash got the nickname because in the comics when Peter and flash were little they were friends. And when they were little flash would love to take his clothes off all the time giving him the nickname flash.
Spiderman sticks to walls using electrostatic force and molecularly bonds to any surface he wishes hence why you see iterations where he wears shoes and is able to stick to walls still

Spiderman who jokes more, but this is still the darkest spider man movie. Rare combining of comedy & mature content
This movie along with the Raimi Trilogy were the ultimate movies for me whenever I was in the mood for Spiderman, had them on DVD and would always take them off the shelves to watch them
Andrew Garfields performance is so heartfelt in these films
This is a great Spider-Man movie
This is one of my top favorite spider man flicks. The casting was done perfectly, the portrayal for Spidey was comic-book accurate, and most of the scenes were unpredictable.
Garfield and Stone were dating IRL at the time... which is why they have such good chemistry
The reason why the original trilogy and TASM1 were memorable, was because of the producer LAURA ZISKIN
It was because of her and her husband (the screenwriter Alvin Sargent) that the movies had depth
AVI ARAD on the other hand, just wanted to use the movies to sell toys
Unfortunately, she died in 2011, during the production of this movie
Without her, there was no one to stop Arad from destroying the franchise
Spider-Man was nothing without her
Sure buddy 😂
The producers are above the directors and writers
If the first Spider-Man was great, it was because Laura Ziskin allowed it be great
And TASM1 could've been better if Arad hadn't shove The Lizard into the story
If Ziskin was still alive, TASM2 could've been a lot different. Alvin Sargent would've been the writer instead of the guys that did Transformers
It was never about the director, the cast, or giving everyone freedom.
Did not know that, thanks for being (as far as I see) the first to answer the question! (and a fellow Fallout fan I see!)
The Sam Raimi movies were the best and only good Spider-Man movies
I mean tbh makes sense for spider man to have organic webs. Im sure not everyone can be smart enough to make their own web shooters in other dimensions.
@@lolokay9156every Spider-Man is a genius
Which is really hard.
the first spiderman movie was the first time spiderman had organic web, in the comics and in the other movie versions he makes the webbing
"You think maybe Uncle Ben would survive in this universe?"
Everyone who knows Spider-Man - 👀
There is only one spider man who can shoot webs out of his wrist naturally and that's only toby Maguire the original spiderman comic had him shooting it out of web shooters
time code: 37:38 "Why did they reboot it?"
answer: Sony was greedy & didn't want to continue to pay increasing salaries for 2 actors, who had received Academy Awards [Oscars], Toby McGuire & Kirsten Dunst, from different movies
38:50 Woah that will for sure be answered in the next next marvel movie.
In the toby movies the webs came out of his wrist but from what you seen here is what happens in the comics and other spiderman media's is he makes his web shooters and web cartridges.
38:40
The purpose of this film is not to make even better movie than the Raimi films, the purpose was to make a Spider-Man movie because Spider-Man 3 failed
This is my favorite spider-man movie tbh
Andrew’s movement is immaculate also thats the clearest and cleanest sewer water.
the spider symbol on the chest is diff. for each spiderman regarding to the kind of spider that bet them
The reason for the reboot was because of how Marvel licensed the movie distribution rights to the various studios.
And that's why my ranking for the best Spidey is:
1 Tom
2 Andrew
3 Tobbey
Tobey have the best movies
@@stevecristian6932 Tobey has the best Tobey's movies. :P In my opinion, he just an average actor.
OG as used here just means the first or the original
ASM1, ASM2 Those are the name of the Andrew Garfield movies. Amazing Spider-Man 1 and Amazing Spider-Man 2. I just figured it would be easier to abbreviate.
I see they just posted up Amazing Spider-Man 2, so I am off to see that. Have a great day!
Pretty much every Spider-Man even in comics and animated shows have web shooters. Tobey only has organic webs to basically be different lol
Andrew is the best and my favorite Spider-Man
And Emma stone and Andrew Garfield so that made they’re chemistry better
ANDREW GARFIELD IS THE FUNNIEST SPIDER-MAN!!
I love how his web shooters are explained in this movie. Gwen Stacy is the best girlfriend in these movies Emma Stone did her thing, Andrew as Peter / Spiderman as well.
Hope you two are having an great and awesome weekend ❤
This wasn't necessarily a multiverse situation, it was a straight Spider-Man reboot done by Sony. And since it wasn't as successful as they were hoping, they scrapped the 3rd film and reboot AGAIN. But this time Marvel Studios came in, took creative lead, and reboot Spider-Man within their already established MCU. And this lead to a multi billion dollar trilogy.
Saw this in IMAC with my Dad 😊. I still ❤️ love this movie
IMAX
Peter is a genius. Like Tony Stark. He developed web fluid himself as a teenage boy since he was 15 when he got his powers.
All of him can stick to surfaces ‐‐fingers, toes, but, wrists etc etc.
There's a saying in the comics --Gwen Stacy loved Peter. Mary Jane loved Spider-Man
"There's a saying in the comics --Gwen Stacy loved Peter. Mary Jane loved Spider-Man" Lol, no there isn't.
Mary Jane loved both.
I had to google that one. Did you mean banana spider of central/south America?
At the end of the day, The Amazing Spider-Man is a decent film fragmented together with great pieces.

Some spiders aren't, but others are. If you live in Nevada or Australia, you'll encounter some poisonous spiders whose bites can kill you in minutes.
A little fun fact: In the first Spiderman movie with Tobey McGuire, Peter mentions that he works with Dr. Connors, but he only exists off screen 👀
VINCE IS RIGHT SHOSANNA AT THE END CREDICT SCENCE CONNERS WAS TALKING TO SOMEONE ELSE AND IM STILL CURIOSUS WHO COULD IT BE TO THIS DAY.
in the comics the webs are not organic (at least the normal spider man doesn't have organic webs)
New York itself is an important character in any real Spiderman story. ♥
13:05 the face of realization
in the comics, peter makes his webs, sam raimi wanted it to be unique,so in the prev ones,he made it come out of his wrist
You’re right Vince this is the Multiverse I didn’t know and when I first saw it back then, but you’re right
Well actually in the comics Gwen was Peters first love interest then Mary Jane.
30:34 Did he say "Blonski, you get some overtime!"? Is that Emil Blonski?
How were you even up at 4am, you’re both either night owls or extremely early birds, either way hats off to you, keep up the great content 😊❤
This is one of my fav spiderman movies!
Tobey’s Spiderman is the only Spiderman that has natural biological webs. Every other Spiderman makes their own webbing, including in the comics.
Speaking of Marvel, continue watching X-Men.
Yes!!! This!!!
The women are always saving the men in those movies. Maybe they should start calling it X-Women.
Edit: 😭Don't roast me. I'm quoting probably the cringiest line in the entire series.
@@messybestie-d7i Dark Phoenix reference 👌.

couldn’t have said it better as long as it’s in release order and they don’t skip any movies.
My favorite Spider-Man movie!
Actually in comics spiderman makes his own web shooter. It's only tobey that has natural webs but it isn't comic accurate and raimi did it just for fun.
Soo Andrew's spiderman portrays comic well.
The amazing Spider-Man is awesome. The amazing Spider-Man 2 is awesome too. But it sucks they didn't make a amazing Spider-Man 3.
No! Amazing Spider-Man was garbage, the second one was worse and it’s a very good thing that they never made a 3rd movie
@Tyrone I personally liked the ASM movies and would *still* like to see ASM3. An older, wiser Spider-Man played by Andrew Garfield in his own movie set a decade after the events of ASM2. I'll buy us both a ticket, lol.
2nd movie is garbage, Quit defending it. 😹
@@Meepie_Playz they were both garbage!
The only thing the first one had going for it was that it was better than the second one, but all in all they were both crap
@@nsasupporter7557 1st one is better but ya
In the different comics peter has multiple different love interest but the most common ones are MARY JANEWATSON AND GWEN STACY. I REMEMBER KID ME WANTED TO HAVE HIS LFE TO BE A LADIES MAN AND ME NOW NOT ANY MORE.
Funny thing? The harmless 'Daddy Long Legs" spider is pound for pound one of the most venomous spiders there are. They just cannot pierce human skin and so are harmless to us. For now...
I’m sure someone has said it. Peter always made his own web shooters. It didn’t come out of inside his wrist
Dr Conners was also in the other version. He was the professor who was working on venom with Peter
This version of spider is the more realistic type where as the spider fluid doesn’t just come out his wrist
For me Andrew Garfield is the best Spiderman.
Best Spider-Man, not Peter Parker tho
You are absolutely right about the lethal spiders being a tiny percentage, most of them live in Australia (go figure) and the on that springs to mind for me is the funnel-web spider.
And yes, black widows are dangerous as well.
Fun fact flash got the nickname because in the comics when Peter and flash were little they were friends. And when they were little flash would love to take his clothes off all the time giving him the nickname flash.
this was my favorite movie as a kid,
the only movie I have a poster for.
The relationship between Peter an Gwen is really one of the OG spidey plots, also Gwen was the first love interest for spidey in the comics
light-hearted? ohh wait till next one.
Yeah Tobey's Peter is the only one that can shoot web out of his writs
he’s the best spider man for sure
Spiderman sticks to walls using electrostatic force and molecularly bonds to any surface he wishes hence why you see iterations where he wears shoes and is able to stick to walls still
My favorite spiderman Forever and ever 🔥🔥🔥🔥
The lizard is cgi but the cool thing is it's actually a guy that size that wear a gray suit it's amazing I love you guys
