This is such a wonderful video! As a queer woman, I absolutely love Nat. She is such a unique character who is allowed to be just as interesting and funny as the rest of the characters. I also really enjoyed your discussion about what Nat means to Louise as a role model. I have always loved their bond. My personal headcanon for Louise is that when she grows up she will identify as a lesbian, and I always saw Louise's admiration of Nat to be indicative of that, but your discussion makes it go much deeper than that. Nat def gave me the vibes of a strong junior high coach when I first saw her; energetic but not in your face, motivational, and easy to approach What you mentioned near the end about how divers bob burgers is really helped nail down one of the reasons I like about the show, the individual characters really flush out that little harbor town
Nat is up there with Louise, Milly, and Zeke, as my favourite Bob's Burgers. She's chaotic and i love her. I will say the Water Park episode annoyed me. As much as i love that Nat returned it makes me sad that Bob got Linda something nice and the kids lost it. And while i think the ending is sweet it still frustrates me that the ring is literally on their doorstep and they haven't found it yet. Like it's one of the sweetest frustrating episodes, and we got Nat out of it.
This was a great watch, this is my favorite comfort show so finally getting some content on it is beautiful. You’re very much appreciated for your time and effort! Looking forward to what’s next.

The two leads immediately deadpan "Lorenzo's Oil?"

I love your ending remarks about Nat and Louise and representation! A lot of video essayists kind of abruptly end but it was nice to have a thoughtful ending especially about a minor character.
Thank you! Since most of the video was a recap of episodes she's been in I figured I'd put my thoughts of her afterwards. That way I could give people context if they're unfamiliar with her and I get to do my normal character analysis. That's my thought process lol. Either way I get what you mean. A video essay is not really an essay if you only recap without giving any additional thoughts or opinions.
This woman is charming, interesting, loyal, and genuine. She will find love, she's so lovable! And she's probably the Pinnacle wlm representation we get in animation.

Also in this vein, as a child who didn't know I was queer, I remember vividly the first times I met queer adults. I didn't know why, but I thought they were AWESOME. Couldn't figure out why, until way later when it all made sense.

She is one of my favorite characters. My oldest daughter is a part of the LGBTQ community and she loves Nat. I totally get Tina's anxiety, I never went to prom at all. The guy I liked was a total jerk.

As a queer woman I see myself in Natalie a lot! Especially when I’m the type of person to love someone really hard and want to be around them a lot! It’s very refreshing to have someone that I can relate to on that and it’s refreshing to live in a society where sapphic relationships are being seen in media more. And it’s not stigmatized like it was in the past. I look forward to seeing more of nat and how her relationship with Peggy goes in the future Also, I love that Natalie shows a lot of passion for the things she likes like lizards and I love her style a lot 💓💓

I've been saying for YEARS that the vday episode I want is each Belcher trying to find a suitable bachelorette for Nat. It'd be a fun way to bring back some one-off characters, too. I figure Bob would suggest she date Marshmallow, given Bob's not so subtle crush on her. I think Linda would set her up with the Annie-sassin, since Nat is the kind of free spirit Annie would admire. Louise would suggest she go out with the shark lady from the aquarium, because they're the two coolest adults Louise knows. Tina would set her up with her hot teacher Miss Jacobsen. Gene, I don't know, he'd probably spend the whole episode waiting for Ken to call him back to let him know if his sister Kenina is single. I'd also enjoy seeing her date Rudy's mom, both because I think she and Rudy would get along great (given that she's basically an older Louise), and because that would mean Jillian Bell will become her own aunt (she voiced Rudy's tall cousin in that one episode as well). Or the Wind Gap hermit, just because they have a similar vibe and I'd like to see her come back. I also want a plot twist where Jen's hot cousin Dave is gay and he and Nat are besties.
