Thank you for showing those of us who are family pet owners how to clip our babies. There are those of us who do appreciate it and think this is a good clip for what we want.

They are not made for regions with high temperature. The maximum is 22°C for a healthy dog. The best climate is between 8 and 16°C.

I use blade #10 for ears, #7 for back legs and neck. For neck and back legs could be #4 or 5, depends on dog coat. Do not shave too short, some dogs can have hot spot

Don't use this as a proper guide, this is a hachet job. She gets the general things right but ...the dogs top line doesn't look straight she's given it a roach back, the paws are chopped up. I could go on and on. Also you need 10" straight and curved shears, matt splitter etc. #15 works better for the ears although #10 will work. IF using 7f for the neck go with the grain same with the rear. actually 5f works fine for the rear again go with the grain unless your dog has lots of under coat then you can use the #7 for the rear also, older dogs have less undercoat and you may leave areas where the skin shows through also let the blade cool off between the neck and the rear. Also for the short patch on top of the head a 5f works great it is much easier to make that little square just behind the brow ridge than to use scissors. If you want to get a great video of how groom a BRT get Olga Korienko's video, she is probably the best BRT groomer in the US. Go to Zastavabrt.com . Just to be clear I am not a shill for Olga just someone who knows her well personally and from experience in the show ring she is top notch and know just how good she is..

leg's wasn't chopped :-) This is a pup 5 m.o. Can't stay straight and no need it. Not much hair on his legs and grooming not for show but just give better looks and have grooming table experience. Want to see show grooming go on my web site

then why even show it. Still poor job and never said legs chopped said feet chopped and the are chopped there is plenty of coat to work with. and why not give straight top line you roached him. You didn't even trim his rear properly if you can do it better then do it or don't put it on youtube and mess people up that don't know any better.

Hi mike d. I just tried zasta connection but couldn't find grooming on the webpage, im extremely interested if you have a link. I am level 3 city & guilds here in the uk. My client has the very delightful BRT and i don't want to make the mistake of given a schnauzer trim - many thanks in advance
