It’s actually the preferred version to play competitively because of less bugs and glitches. The soundtrack is also fantastic on the snes a couple of them being better than the arcade
I like how SNES kind of simplifies and puts the music in a compact package for a person like myself who does not have the musical knowledge to appreciate all the trickery and depth of the arcade.

I really prefer Glacius' design from the first game here and hope it returns in a future game. I do like the Spawn-inspired/esque design of the entity that was a Killer Instinct 2 (said to be an ancient ancestor of his 2,000 years in the past that also crashed on Earth, due to that game's setting) and hated his (the KI1 Glacius) design in the 2013 installment but it grew on me over time. I just think THIS one looks so much cooler. No pun intended lol. 😂😂

Was this recorded from SNES hardware? The fidelity is crazy! The samples are really clean.
The SNES used a Sony SPC700. This was a high fidelity sound chip.
