Thats terrifying! The cops should have been called. If you hear someone screaming in a negative way please call the cops. This person could be in grave danger whether it be abuse or a medical issue they clearly needed help. She was screaming to get heard. Even if you called the cops and they were just having sex it, it's okay. It's better than someone getting murdered screaming for help and no one doing anything.

Yikes! People are really messed up these days. I’ve noticed a lot with hotels they keep secrets just so guests don’t get scared from staying there. It’s always good to be aware of your surroundings like what you were doing.

Being that the employees didn't go knock on the door, I would've just called the cops and asked them to do a wellness check up, at the very least a noise complaint because it sounded so violent. Could you imagine a guy asks you if you want a drink, you get into conversation and go back to his room, and he brutally beat and raped her and she's praying someone comes to help her and no one does.
That's so sad I would have called the police or the FBI just someone to help her if the hotel was no help at all I would have called someone to help her in that abusive situation.
I myself would have called the front desk, waited 15 mins and then called the cops. Fuck that. But always follow your gut!!! When someone doesnt feel right and you're gettin bad vibes...go with that feeling!!
When they hear that type of screaming the front desk should call 911 & wait for police to arrive to investigate . Unless your occupation is in law enforcement than you are not trained to help anyone because the man could very well be still in the room forcing the woman to say she is ok & has medical issue .

She said the one friend wasn’t on the same floor, I probably would have slept through it too. I slept through a fire alarm going off right above my bed at a hotel once, luckily it wasn’t a fire that triggered the alarm. I also slept through a tornado tearing through our neighborhood, I’ve gotten a lot better now that I have kids and little noises wake me up..some people can sleep through loud noises

I used to be with someone who suffered with them, night terrors can course people to wake up screaming, and swearing like they are in great pain, they can also throw themselves around during this, it can also lead to fits and seizures afterwards. We stayed in Punta Cana and heard two ppl yelling at each other and the guy was cursing at the girl who went to her room the guy was angry because she didn’t go with him then we heard what sounded like a gunshot go off and after total quiet it was creepy my hubby called the front desk they investigated and we never heard after what happened I was freaked out I stayed in my room to be safe. You were smart to stay in your room.

I used to go with my brother hunting in the woods. It was 12 at night and we were in Albania. In the middle of hunting we heard a blood curling scream that didn’t sound human. At all. We got so scared and then we saw dogs come out from that direction barking and they looked traumatized. Then the dog that we brought with us was still in place from the fear. The scream was SO scary I couldn’t even move

Hotels are notorious for human trafficking, even in small towns and states that are flyover and not huge tourist destinations. A town not far away from me had a local hotel that was part of a trafficking ring, I'm in nebraska and people from Denver CO travel here to do lots of dangerous and shady shit, and the sad part is that with small towns they do get away with it more because people in rural areas aren't fully aware with street smarts and aren't used to that type of thing, like obviously someone in Denver or Chicago or LA or NYC always have eyes on them and people in big city's have street smarts and there are warnings everywhere and security guards everywhere, in my small town we don't have that, that's why small towns aren't entirely safer than big cities. that's kinda part of the reason why I Hate traveling (other than being a huge homebody)

That is such a scary thing to experience. Why didn't the people get together on that floor who were coming out of their rooms, knock on the door to do their own welfare check. Screaming like that for over an hour is a major red flag. The police should of been called for a welfare check, over ride the night desk person and make your own decision to see if the woman was alright. The night person could have been in on the abuse of this woman, that's why you got the story of a medical issue. You know the sounds you heard were more than a medical emergency. Why were the paramedics not called to attend to her.

It was around 7 or 8 pm but it happened again around 11pm. I was terrified. Will never got back there. Even thought it was newly opened the workers there were not professional enough. They should have call the police

Oh wow! This is wild I heard a nonstop scream down my neighborhood for I don't know how long! And quite a few neighbors & myself were outside listening a few called the cops we didn't know what else to do. We NEVER found out what that scream was & you're right in this day & age you can't help bit to think about things like that especially with screams. Urgh that’s horrible! You did the right thing to call up and I feel like the hotel should have called the police! And I don’t believe it was a medical issue, typically when you are in severe, severe pain from something medical you are not screaming bc you don’t have the energy, you are making kind of hurt animal noises, rocking backwards and forwards in pain etc (at least from my experience of severe pain).

Oh wow! This is wild I heard a nonstop scream down my neighborhood for I don't know how long! And quite a few neighbors & myself were outside listening a few called the cops we didn't know what else to do. We NEVER found out what that scream was & you're right in this day & age you can't help bit to think about things like that especially with screams. I don't know how long the screams my neighbors & I heard went on but it was a while

Urgh that’s horrible! You did the right thing to call up and I feel like the hotel should have called the police! And I don’t believe it was a medical issue, typically when you are in severe, severe pain from something medical you are not screaming bc you don’t have the energy, you are making kind of hurt animal noises, rocking backwards and forwards in pain etc (at least from my experience of severe pain).
