I just bought this it's amazing sounds awesome with my Bayer and dynamics go and plus truly wireless earbuds I have well over 8000 songs on this device. I absolutely love it.
can you tell me which is the best player for bluetooth with out loss of volume I currently have a cowon plenue r paired with bose qcII when played wireless I loose a considerable amount of volume
The kann's trebles are good? in one rewiev they say it has less treble than mids and lows. Comparing this at the ak70 mk2 what is the best in SQ level?
Hi i am thinking to buy either kann or ak240 which is on sale right now in their website, is there any difference interms of quality between these two??
Hi Jame! The KANN is newer and we think it's a better value, but it really depends on what you're looking for. We'd be happy to help you find the right player for you. Visit AudioAdvice.com and click the CHAT icon and one of our experts will be happy to help you out!
Could u please give me a list (in order) of which of the brand's player's is best what player do i get most out of (quality, jacks, space, sound, ports, etc.) Relative to price How do they compare to the fiio x7 mark II and flagship models of other brands
Yeah, great device as it is great hardware and very good sound, but sorry to say: their software should be improved! When dealing with a large music collection the device is lagging, its not capable to understand multi genre tagging and when looking for albums within a genre it is a no-go... just get artists in text there... Horrible to find my stuff. Not suitable to do some simple DJ-ing. Really looking forward to a software update that improves this downside...
The Sony NWA30 series are surely not better. Those are quite good for many purposes, but cannot match the sound quality of the KANN. There are other Sony's though like the NW-WM1A, that I expect to be quite good sound wise, but I have not heard them yet and those are equally expensive with fewer hardware options... But it might be good to check there software potential - if that facilitates album search from within a genre...
OK, good to know. It will be throughout their players then. No need to switch to another A&K to solve the issue... I would need to check another brand to get this right...
@@suncity22001 no. Every type of player influences the sound a bit, hence the reference to the term TIMING. These types of terms are not scientific but one's perception of the way a device's electronics can make the sound a bit different from another unit. But it takes dedication to understand and hear the differences. But once you hear the differences it becomes way easier to compare units.
Why companies keep doing low specs in an exaggerated in price and useless functionality. I mean 4 hours to charge and 15 hours to use come on ppl . With 15 percent of its price u can buy any used mobile with a greater capacity and use it instead .
KANN is more useful because it can be used as a desktop amp as well. Also it has double the storage capacity of the WM1A. Both are balanced. Not sure why anyone would choose the WM1A.
So been using the Kann for couple of months. It is fantastic!
Does it support micro SD card with more than 256 gigabytes
Yes it does. I have 2 x 400gb micro sd in my kann.just make sure you erase it( format) 1st time you put in the kann!

Qazi, AK makes some great sounding gear! Glad you enjoy yours. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Upgrading from my AK100. Where is the best place to get high res content? Planning to use the Kann with my Sen800
just saw the price on ebay. Immediately changed the name to the kann't :(
David Maximus i admire your intellectual elegance.....
Dont go if ypu are not a music lover
They got great resell value too - definitely worth the try!
@@swapyworld09 I do love music. In the end i went for a Astell and kern k70 with Sendy Aiva headphones, sounds really great :D
I am kaan user and i am totally satisfied with the playback time, and quality of music.
this a fantastic review. Full of useful info and great visuals to go with it. thank you so very much
How do you change the battery?
If I dont need power and battery, does it sounds better than SR15?
Wait did he just mistake the left right on the elear? At 3:20
great review but why are u wearing ur elears backwards?
Is the bowers & wilkins p5 series 2 acceptable to use with this or should i get better headset?
The P5 S2 will certainly work fine with the KANN, but it can driver more high-performance headphones as well, should you decide to upgrade.
Audio Advice thanks!

Any difference with the SR15?
No
hi, what a cpu installation and ram? thank-you
thanks for the informative video.
but: does it have a direct-connection to a cd-ripper?
as other a&k models
Yes, if you get an A&K CD Ripper it should work just like the other A&K models.
Can i download my tidal playlist to listen offline? I only hear streaming music 'cause i dont have the time to download music from my pc
We just checked and couldn't find a way to do it.
Audio Advice ok, thanks a lot, great review by the way!
Audio Advice great thank you ser!

What difference does a built-in power amp produce?
Google is your friend! Use it.
@@swampdweller.5935 No, bing is my choice. Google is owned by fairy men.
MQA?
+Jacob Cárdenas not at this point but maybe/hopefully will get an update soon
Kann vs ak300..., best sound ?
i just tried both of em today and kann is 2x better and way more powerful sound
Ilepo i3d earphones explain
What! 1000 USD for a player with only 15 hours playback time, for 4 hours of charge time??
I bet you haven't tested it
Trust me, it isn't about the battery life
You put the elear on the wrong side.
ive tried this and lg v20 couldnt tell the difference
You cannot tell the difference if you play mp3 files. You need flac or dsd files.
Your ears are possibly fucked.

Seems to be the same with most of A&K’s products. The junior and AK70 are the same.

For that price very disappointing as it only has single DAC... Where as on the lower price Astell & Kern like the SR15 has Dual DAC.
It doesn't have a dual DAC. Very disappointing.
I prefer three.
Wm1a vs Kann, anyone?
Tough call. The WM1A is also very nice. We would probably lean Sony on this one.
Thanks a lot

I was thinking the same thing. Sony is what I'm going with. Sony invented personal music players and Hi Res Audio/ Super Audio.
P.A.N.D.E.M.O.N.I.U.M. They would choose it for it's superior Sound Quality ( in balanced mode) and its far superior battery life.

should be called the CON
To be honest, I used to large things in my pants...
